can I ask whether you alternate wide or close? I usually try to squeeze off equal sets of both since they stress different parts, but I've never read that anywhere so I just wonder..

Anywho.. add another 30 for me, so..

Wide works out your lats and shoulders more. Medium spacing makes da boobiez bigger.

This is probably a question more suited for Iscariot to answer, though. ;)
 
How did I miss this thread earlier? I do 50 push-ups and 75 sit-ups every morning as soon as I roll out of bed. I try for 20 pull-ups every day as well, but since I don't have a pull up bar near my master bed room I get lazy and don't feel like heading out to the garage where I have one. It's the best way to get the day started. Some excercise, a shower, then a cup of coffee and I am pinging off the walls for the first few hours at work. So put me down for 50 this morning.

Wide = chest more/triceps less. Close = more tricep/less chest, more inner pec, IIRC but this can also be affected by how high/low on your body you place your hands.
