Yeah I’d say 5 min count is removed once notifications have been acknowledged. The concept is there tho. I don’t need to be nagged into checking my messages!Mute for 5 minutes isn’t very smart. Just mute the redundant notifications if you haven’t acknowledged the notification yet (e.g. Same sender to same group). And stop announcing a notification if you’ve activated the Watch’s face or unlocked the iPhone screen.
The Apple Watch 3 has so little storage space that OS updates take around 3 hours for the cycle of wipe, update, restore. No one should have to go through that. It's possible that WatchOS 9 might not even work with so little storage. Not supporting Apple Watch 3 with WatchOS 9 would be bad... you can buy it on Apple's web pages right now, and dropping support for new versions of the software while the watch is still being sold - or immediately after - is not OK.
This may be highlighting that Apple should have retired Apple Watch 3 a couple of years ago in favor of Apple Watch SE, but they didn't - so they should still support it for a couple of years.
With iPhone 13 Pro you can‘t turn it off. It’s only available till iPhone 12 Pro. If you google it, you will see a lot of reports. Those oily images, especially while turned on RAW, are quite frustrating. RAW pictures should not touched by AI.Is there a reason not to go to Settings > Camera > Smart HDR and switch it off?
It is hard. Otherwise sleep studies would be cheap as hell. (They are not). If you just want an automated "bedtime" thingy, no, that's not hard. But what's the point in that? If you're doing it bad you cheapen everything. Then you haven’t tried other brands. I had a fitbit, in fact I have right here next to me from at least 3 to 5 years ago. This thing will automatically detect when I go to sleep. How does it do it? Well it isn’t hard dude, you just need to track movement, heart rate and noise.
It does it perfectly every time. It doesn’t matter if I take a nap in the middle of the day, the fitbit knows exactly when I’m sleeping and when I’m awake. It doesn’t even matter if I just open my eyes and not move at all, the fitbit knows it. So I don’t know what is Apple doing here but clearly this is a really subpar product and “sleep tracking” is not sleep tracking at all when you have to say to the watch you’re going to sleep.
Apple is doing the world a favor by not letting people do #5. It’s much more inconvenient to play music on your phone and carry it around than on a watch. It’s already annoying we have people using facing time literally everywhere like they’re the center of the world, last thing we need is music playing everywhere because it’s convenient.Stuff I’d like to see added to WatchOS:
1) Apple Notes app. At least the ability read Notes written on other devices.
2) Add the * and # keys to the phone dialing keypad.
3) Ability to display months and days in Calendar app.
4) More standard functions in Calculator app.
5) Ability to play music over the built in speaker.
6) Safari. I’ve been using the micro browser app since it came out. Works well enough to be useful, but pretty basic & rough. Would be nice to have something a bit more refined.
