So, killuminati and cairo, no Canucks in the playoffs this year, eh?

That was so depressing. I have to say though that they really didn't deserve to make the playoffs. And the way they've been playing lately they would have been swept by Detroit.

I'm really sad about this though because it means our core will be split up. I wouldn't be surprised to see Naslund, Bert, Mo or Jovanoski go. If Naslund went I would be so sad because I wouldn't get to see him walk by my house anymore :(. Well that's a small reason, I still think he has a lot left in him though. I know his play has gone downhill from 2002/2003 but I still think he could bring it back. There are some games where he is dangerous and some where I'm scared when he gets on the ice. I guess the problem is that he's just too inconsistant

Go Sens Go.

In reality though, I'll be cheering for the four Canadian clubs in the post season pretty equally. I just hope Ottawa doesn't have to play Montreal first round. I'll be torn.

killuminati, sorry about the Canucks, that bummed me out too. Leafs I could care less about, but I like the Canucks.

With the canucks out I will be rooting for Montreal. I think they have a good team this season, and with Huet and Abischer (sp?) I think they have pretty decent goaltending. I think getting rid of Theodore was great for them.

I would just love to see the cup to back to Montreal.

So how are you guys doing in your pools?

In my pools 6/10, 2/4, 8/11, 44177/68582, and 4011/26402.

Not that it really matters being one day in but meh.

Rangers...however they aren't doing so well after two periods so far...too many penalties. It's all about discipline.

Huge comeback by the Avs in the second period tonight, really tilting the ice in our favor. Just gotta keep up the momentum through the end of the third. Go Avs!

I wish I could actually watch it, rather than just listening in over the Internet. Plus, it's almost midnight here, so I don't know how many of these games I'll even get to follow. Now, if the iTMS offered a 'team pass' on the video store so I could download all the Avs games, I'd buy in a second.

I think the NHL should offer something like MLB TV. With MLB TV you pay $80 a year and can stream every single game of the season live to any computer with internet. I would sign up in a second.

Pushed out with his left arm then just stopped and hobbled off the ice. Needed help off.

It didn't look much different from a separated shoulder however i doubt it is, but it is possible.

Not much of a hockey fan but I want to see the Rangers do well. To bad they really let it fall apart.

Avs 1, Stars 0

Very good win for the Avs tonight to take Game 1, scoring 5 unanswered goals against a good goalie in Turco. Seeing the power play firing on all cylinders is very encouraging. I hope they can keep up this intensity.

Turco is not nearly as good of a goalie during the playoffs as the regular season

This is a good point, and I'm not going to cry any tears about it, that's for sure :D .
I hope that Theodore can keep up his level of play, however; I was impressed with him tonight. Maybe the magic is back?

Good ol rangers sucking even more YAY
me and you big fight lol ;)

Oy do they suck, its going to be a quick and painful round.
any islander fans here ( insert chicken dance song here) THE RANGERS SUCK :D

Sens v Flames is my bet for the finals. Sens are the best team on paper in the league and Hasek can carry them through the final rounds. Flames have the best goalie in this year's league and the best goalie is what takes you to the Cup.

I'm pulling for the Habs though.

I'm hoping Ottawa will do something this year since Toronto isn't around to screw them up.
