In two weeks... We hope.
Hehe thats what people where saying months ago....Don't get me wrong though I hope so too!!

Forgive me if this has been asked before, and i'm sure it was but I read dozens of pages of this thread and couldnt find it...

Looking at the CPU chart on here, would you guys agree that likely they will start the 2.66(harpertown) as the base, 2.8 for the middle and 3.16 for the top dog?? Also hoping for 2GB, I mean the mac mini has 1GB now:rolleyes:

Also stupid question...with say the dual 3ghz, would that be like 6ghz or are the more like 1.5ghz each??

Looks like I'll have to try to fill in for Multimedia.

Now that I think of it, buddy I work with is picking up a MacPro today at the Apple Store for the business, foolish, I know, he doesn't want to listen to me. Anyway, it comes with Leopard. I get to test it out next week. Gonna install it on my MacBook. Ooooooo, can't wait.

I assume that he's buying a copy of 10.5 for you?

Not only would it be stealing to use his copy to upgrade your MacBook, but it probably won't work. (See https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/375500/)

Cool, I didn't notice the 3.2ghz :)

What happened to MM? I saw his avatar said banned???

Also any chance you guys think the 3.0ghz will be the mid model??....I sure hope so!

Depends whether or not the original owner intended to use it on his Mac Pro or not. It comes with Tiger preinstalled already, so if he opts not to use it, it is legal.

It depends on the T&C's for the drop-in DVD.

If the wording is that it is bound to the new Mac, then it wouldn't be OK to "transfer" a non-transferable license.

I'm an Apple shareholder. Stop stealing from me!
