Here's some stats for you:

Brady sets an NFL record for the highest completion percentage of the first 100 passes of the season at 79/100. Previous record was 74/100.

Randy Moss sets a record for the first player to get 100 yards in his first four games with a new team.

Brady has won 74/98 starts. If he wins his next 2, he'll tie Roger Staubach for the most wins in the first 100 games of a career in NFL history (76).

The 2007 Patriots are the first team since the 1920 Buffalo Americans to win their first four games by 20 points or more.

Tonight was Moss's 50th 100 yard game of his career, tied for 3rd all time (behind Rice and Harrison).

Mike Vrabel caught his 7th career regular season touchdown pass.

Randy Moss is the only person in MNF history to average a touchdown per MNF game played. (12 touchdowns in 12 MNF games)

oh yeah, and the Pats won 34-13.

On another note..Ricky Williams is applying for reinstatement to the NFL after his fourth substance abuse violation. One of four teams reportedly interested in him...The New England Patriots....

Steal of the century..Randy Moss for a fourth round draft pick!!. Thank you Oakland Raiders :D

I was listening to the game on the radio last night (I don't have cable) and they said that Randy Moss only scored one touchdown all of last season while in the red zone. Already he has four with the Pats.

The Raiders are fools.

I guess the people who have been calling the Pats cheaters were right. Getting Moss for a 4th round pick was cheating. :D

well you know what he said when asked "why are your numbers so bad here in Oakland?"

he replied "No one else gives a d*mn, why should I?"

Pats against Dallas it could be the game of the year. But also the Pats do play the Colts on Nov 4th. I concede that those two games will be the best games of the season..excluding playoff games of course. Dallas should make the playoffs easy since their division is pretty weak. I don't however envision them winning the Bowl...

i don't see them winning either.....but they may make it there

Mike Vrabel caught his 7th career regular season touchdown pass.

Slight correction..

Mike Vrabel caught his 7th pass of his NFL career, this includes regular season and post season. It just so happens that it's also his 7th career TD reception.

:)

Good game, if you're a Pats fan. I must say, the Pats D looked a little slow-moving last night. But that might be the TJH and 85 reality warp. I found Marvin Lewis' comments post-game to be very interesting.. the comments about being too selfish. With 85 gets benched? Yeah right.

Last season, Randy Moss had 42 receptions and 3 TDs ALL SEAON (for 13 games).

This season, 31 receptions for 7 TDs.

The Raiders are fools.

Agreed.

What I wonder is how is the football machine in NE so able to process malcontents? I guess.. buy into it & win, or get the **** out.

Exactly. The Pats had nothing to lose on Moss.Get with the program,or get out. Moss is playing for the big contract next year.Just like Samuel is.

When an offense needs a particular receiver to be a threat (like Minnesota with Moss back in the day) the receiver starts to believe he is more important than all the other players. Put the same receiver on a team he can help but isn't reliant on him to win games then you manage to take a lot of the attitude out of him. When he knows acting up will get him booted and it won't hurt the team too much he's less likely to make an asshat out of himself. Make it a winning team and a lot of receivers will snap in line and conform for the chance at playoffs and possible Super Bowls...

That's true.. it's definitely not expected of Moss to carry the Pats on his back. That definitely makes it easier to have fun and relax a little bit.
