I think it was a mistake for Newman to play in the Bears game. He said before the game that he would be in and out, which means he's not at 100%. If you're not playing at 100%, why hurt your team?

When he does reach that desired mark, though, I agree. He will be a bigger threat than any other Cowboys' defender, even bigger than DeMarcus Ware because the Cowboys' secondary is definitely making (good) quarterbacks druel right now.

As for the change to Griese, he's nowhere near a permanent solution. Devote your first round pick to a quarterback or to trading for one, Chicago.

And as for the Cowboys-Colts game (though weeks away), if Newman and Greg Ellis are playing at their best:
Cowboys 24
Colts 14
 
Wanna know why you run up the score in an NFL game?Because you never know when a team will put up 34 points in the fourth quarter :p Looks like the move to Griese panned out..3 INT's...

Just wondering.

Since the Jets are so pathetically bad and their fans are so concerned about cameras, maybe CBS is the next defendant for putting their games on TV.

Wow. I don't know who is worse... the coach or the QB. Norv Turner is not qualified to be a head coach and Philip Rivers isn't qualifies to be a starting QB! What a terrible game... :mad: and there goes the season. :(

Blame it on AJ Smith..He's the one that drove Marty out of town. WTF was he thinking?:confused:
 
My money is on the Cowboys. As a longtime and family fan, I have to root for Dallas, especially when they are playing spectacular this season (although quite early).

I'm expecting the Cowboys to take the NFC Championship, with only the Colts providing a legitimate challenge if they continue playing the way they have been. Romo has been reacting great and T.O. is proving to be a quality receiver. Witten has been pretty solid, however it's too bad to see Glenn out of the picture for now.

Could be worse..You could be a Charger's fan...I think Tomlinson will get a Kleenex endorsement deal..In his post game press conferences,he sounds like he lost his binky....

Sadly, he's sounded like that EVERY post game interview since the Pats kicked their ass (and did the "Merriman Sack Dance" at midfield) in the playoffs last year. He's always on the verge of tears.

LT doesn't need a new head coach as much as he needs a hug. :rolleyes:

LT,the one and only,played LB for the Giants :p:D Lady Tomlinson couldn't carry LT's jock,lol...

Group hug for the Chargers..Or sit around a campfire and sing Kumbyah (sp)

Holy cow. McNabb had a "perfect game" last week (in terms of passer ratings) and this week he was on his back more often than a whore at a condom convention.

I was disappointed in that game. Not because McWhine got sacked 12 times, that was awesome. I was only disappointed because someone had to win. I wanted both of them to lose. :p
 
How about Joey Harrington this week? Who was it that called me a homer a couple of weeks ago for saying Harrington can get it done? 23-29-2-0 today, and two TDs to zero interceptions last week. Not bad.

The season is long. Hopefully he will continue to play well. :D

You guys obviously have never played football in your lives and don't know how it feels to lose a football game. All the punishment for nothing, it sucks. Trust me every single week every team every player cries after a game they just don't do it publicly.

Um,wrong.High school and junior college here..Losing is one thing..Losing with class and dignity and not whining like a bitch every week in front of the cameras instead of getting it done on the field,DURING a game by making plays,is another. Lady T needs to grow some balls.:rolleyes:
