I feel bad for the Buf D.They played their arses off and forced all those turnovers. The Buf OC should get a dope slap. Not going for it on fourth down in the first half set the tone for the whole game.Whenever a coach plays to not lose, very rarely do you win....

even with 4 ints in the 1st half, i bet the cowboys still win tonight....

look who called it ....but i didn't think they would have won like that! what a crazy game!

and even if you don't like TO, according to the rules, that 2-point conversation should have been pass interference. that defender not only didn't look back for the ball, but was blocking TO's arms before the ball got there. look at the replay if you disagree.

just makes my blood boil when refs don't call a fair game. there was another call, or non-call against TO when he was pushed out of bounds when making a catch, and they said he was out-of-bounds. he was clearly pushed out

And Romo should be buying his field goal kicker a Rolex today :D He doesn't make that kick, twice no less,Romo gets skewered this week....

Crazy game! I actually tuned it off in the third quarter.

What I did see, was two horrible calls against TO. I can't recall now which came first, but the spike call against him was pretty stinkin' terrible, and then the push out of bounds was insane. TO obviously would have gotten the other foot down if he hadn't been pushed. Didn't nearly the exact same scenario get called the other way in the GB/Chicago game?

And from what everyone is saying, he was interfered with on the two point conversion attempt.

Love him, hate him, whatever - just call a fair game when it comes to him.

Yup... I went to a Bills game once. Opening day against the Jets. Bledsoe drove them down the field for a touchdown to tie the game in the final minute. The stadium went nuts as the game went to OT. Then the Jets ran the OT kickoff back for a TD... never seen a stadium go quiet so fast...
That one gave me a good laugh. It seems to be their destiny. :D

First of all, I'm just as surprised as everybody that the Cowboys won.

I hate to be a call-grubber, but I do think there was some definite bias against Terrell Owens. In the first half, after the whistle, Owens dropped the ball so the ref could pick it up. A delay of game was called on him. The rule is for spiking, and that was extremely far from a spike. (EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see Mike Teezie's post.)

Another thing I hated was the bias of the television announcers. I know I'm not the only one who thinks that... I mean for goodness's sake, one of the commentators had a Bills jersey with him. I could expand on this, but I've seen it before in several other games, so I'll hold my peace.

Ron Jaworski is of course from Buffalo...can't really blame him for supporting his home team. That's pretty standard in the broadcasting business. It's also easy to get behind an underdog, and that's frequently the primary driver for perceived bias. I thought the broadcast team did a decent job.

(On a side note, my grandmother was Jaworski's math teacher for one of his grade school years. :D )

I understand and agree with you that the enthusiasm of most commentators tends to be in favor of the underdog, but it shows a lack of professionalism.

Also, I didn't mean to come off as sounding too harsh to the broadcasters. The visual explanations after the plays was excellent and brought a lot to the game.

Was Jaworski the one who talked about the five 'quadrants' and later corrected himself? If so, your grandmother should be held responsible :p. Interesting fact. :)

i agree here. and that's right, i forgot about the spiking call against him. so 3 calls against him total, that were terrible.

i agree, call a fair game, please

As a long suffering Jets fan, was kind of nice to see then wearing throw back uniforms today against the Eagles. It's like I have a new team to root for.

Never mind, Pennington just threw a floater for an interception.

Definitely one of the better throw-backs. The Eagles one still wins the prize for most horrific. Chargers are in powder blue tonight ;)

The jersey I just don't get at all - the NFL women's ones in white and pink. Why on earch does someone want their team's star player but in pink so no-one knows what team you support? The Ray Lewis jersey in pink just looks wrong

I can't believe the 'Skins gave that game away. JC and Cooley looked great, but Portis and Moss just killed the O w/turnovers and dropped balls. The injuries to the O line didn't help either, but that didn't seem to become a real factor until later after the 'Skins had totally shot themselves in the foot. The D played a solid game as well. Argh, such a frustrating game to watch.

21-17. Looks like an exciting second half coming up.

yes it does.

and they still don't like Owens....that catch before the TD....he was clearly pushed out of bounds.....but, they took it away from him, just like they did on Monday night last week.

i still think the Pats will win, but looking forward to watching though

If it makes you feel better the refs don't like Bubba Franks either. He was a good yard, yard and a half inside the back of the end zone, but got knocked outta bounds by Smoot and it wasn't ruled a "force out".

The interference call could have easily gone the other way. I think Moss & the Pats got a break on that one. Anyway 28-24, this could be a barn burner back and forth with the lead into the fourth.

I'm watching the Moss reception replay over and over (while they review), and I still don't know if it's a catch, it's so close. Ruled no catch.
