I don't think so.
Frankly, I think that this is the first year since the Rams Super Bowl runs that one or two teams were so much better than the others.
"Any given Sunday" is the code word for parity. Somehow, the NFL lost control of parity and now there are some really good teams and some really bad teams instead of a bunch of mediocre teams.
Personally, I like the way things are working out this season.
I think football is better when the Cowboys and Packers are good and their rivals are competitive instead of rollovers. I think all is right in the world when Miami is working on another "perfect season". I think it's great when PITAs get to say, "in your face!" (Moss and Owens). I think it is fun when Madden actually has individual performances he can orgasm over. I think it is interesting when teams like the Browns look good and the Chargers look bad.
And yet, I think college football is better. This season especially.
