Everyone knows Connecticut doesn't really count as New England... basically because half of them don't even root for NE teams.

Only the smart ones root against.:p It is said that CT is the battle zone for NY/MA sports.

so who wants to think TO's cryin was a act wow this guy is so over rated i hope no one pics him up when his contract is up

Pats
Bolts (not Colts)
Pack
Boys

Those are my picks this weekend.

Gah.. so close.

Ummm did anyone just catch the commercial with the Manning brothers in it? It's for Oreo (Nabisco) and the DSRL (Double Stuff Racing League).

I want to gouge out my eyeballs after seeing that.

Agreed. The end of the world is neigh!

So how about the Colts fans booing the 11 year old girl who won the Punt, Pass & Kick competition just because she was wearing a Patriots jersey? What a bunch of douchebags.

Yeah, that was weak. She's just a kid. To me, that shows what kind of fans they have in Indy. I could only hope the same thing wouldn't happen in NE (though I'd probably be disappointed).

I'm thinking this will be a rematch of the Superbowl 10 years ago.. Though I expect Farve won't win this one. TBH, I was shocked that the Pats made it there in 97.

Well actually it was 11 years ago, but close enough...

If Favre does manage to pull this one off it's definitely time to retire. Great poetic ending when his first and last Super Bowl he got to beat the same team.

Someone PLEASE beat New England.

yes please but i would love to see Farve do it instead
I'm not a Pats fan, but I think it would be fun to have them go 19-0. They've had a great season and have beaten some good teams (unlike the 72 Dolphins who barely faced a team over .500). Aside from Belichek, I can't say there's anyone on the team that makes my skin crawl.

I agree. Except about his beating the Pats. :)
Ha! Yes, I suppose you wouldn't agree with that. You need to change your signature.

As for me, I'm pleased the Giants beat the Cowboys. I may not be a huge Eli Manning fan, but it's gotta be tough playing in Peyton's shadow all the time. I'd like to see him do well, and he's definitely been playing very well the past few games. Considering how well the Giants played New England on the road, they have a decent chance to beat them, I think, should they face them again.

You should have seen some of the Colt's fans they were interviewing on All Access  What a bunch...Dunno about the Foxborough group. The crowd is changing..I was there in 03-04,and then again this year, and in between.. The pink hats, wine and cheese crowd ,Muffy/Buffy types seem to be increasing. These people are more interested in having their signs seen on TV and keeping their hands warm than getting into the game (at least at the lower level seats).Up in the 300's,you seem to get more vocal fans.Of course nothing compares to the fans at the old stadium

Go out on a bang, though!

Considering that I've seen reports about him leaning towards staying on another year, or two, or three... I think the fastest way to get announcers and the media to shut up about Favre is to have him win this Super Bowl and retire...

If they don't win he'll probably be back next year to make another run at it...

Not that I don't love watching him play, it's just nearing his time to retire while he's still decent rather than plodding on in mediocrity for years to come.

After Favre's performance in the last 2 seasons, I figured he would (should have) retired . Too many mistakes, trying to push it too hard, which lead to more mistakes. Too old and unable to let go, I figured.

But, congrats to him on an excellent season!

Over rated? The guy is the most physically dominant, fastest receiver in the entire NFL who has stats to back up his talk. You're hating for no good reason.

Oh, and of course TO's crying was an act. He's absolutely hilarious. As soon as you understand his personality he's a really funny guy who is very entertaining.
