So this is how I see it (winners in bold):

BCS NC: Florida vs. Oklahoma
Fiesta: Texas vs. Ohio State (bastards)
Sugar: Alabama vs. Utah
Orange: Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech
Rose: Penn State vs. USC

I would make these changes...
Move (bastards) to Florida ;)
Oklahoma over Florida (Gators won't be able to outscore them)
Virginia Tech over Cincinnati

BCS NC: Florida (bastards) vs. Oklahoma
Fiesta: Texas vs. Ohio State
Sugar: Alabama vs. Utah
Orange: Cincinnati vs. Virginia Tech
Rose: Penn State vs. USC

I think the Rose Bowl will be pretty good and could probably go either way

I would make these changes...

I don't know. Oklahoma has a powerful offense, but even Florida's offense is better than anything they've faced.

I still have to go with Florida.

I picked Cincinnati because I honestly haven't seen much of Virginia Tech this year so I have nothing to judge them by.

But is anyone else watching the Cincinnati at Hawaii game right now on ESPN2?

I thought Cincinnati would handle this game pretty easy, but Hawaii is up 17-10 nearly halfway through the third quarter!

Go Warriors! Beat these Big lEast "BCS worthy" Bearcats!!

OU set a single season scoring record this year. Their offense is virtually unstoppable, and you have to outscore them.

Florida's offense is Tebow... and I don't think they can match OU score for score. I think it will be a shoot out. But you know Stoops would love to stop his former team. OU's defense isn't what it used to be, but if they can slow down Tebow at all... I think they will win. I hope they win. I pray they win. I hate the Gators™

Hence the reason I picked the Hokies. Virginia Tech has very little offense, but their defense is their bread and butter. They aren't great, but it is Cincinnati... they don't have to be great.

oh how i love the big 12 dominance in that chart lol

i predict a 45-28 win for OU over the Gators

They crushed the record by 46 points after the previous teams only upped it by 2 points each... pretty impressive

Sooners.png

Both teams can SCORE... but the Sooners have put up 60 in their last 5 games
And... they have put up 50 in 4 other games
They have only been under 40 twice and they were in the 30's

Most impressive, regardless of the schedule

Alright MacDawg, you've convinced me...

Oklahoma over Florida in the BCS NC Game!

:)

.....

So this Hawaii vs. Cincinnati game has gone down the crapper. Hawaii was up by 14 in the fourth quarter and then they completely imploded. Their offense disappeared. Cincy gets a pick-six, a safety and then a 60+ yard touchdown reception. All this after the Cincy offense had like 12 total yards in the second half. Heh.

Cincinnati may have pulled out the win, but it's still COMPLETELY pathetic that this worthless Cincy team has an automatic bid.

Completely pathetic.

Oh well. We'll be there next year, and at least we'll still have a decent Bowl game, even if the payout is laughable.

This is a good slate of BCS games.

OU *does* have a good offense, even if the Big 12 defenses haven't been great. I think OU will put at least 35 points on the board against Florida. The question is, will their defense be able to prevent Tebow from scoring at least that much? I don't know.

Bama/Utah will be a good one.

Oklahoma vs. Texas?

Looks like the computer poll should favor Texas over Florida, which had a 0.12 point lead (0.940 to 0.820) last week. While Florida picked up on their strength of schedule yesterday, so did Texas by virtue of Oklahoma's whopping (whipping?) victory. So, I guess we have to see where the "humans" put Florida and Texas in the final polls.

I don't think it is an issue
The human polls will favor the Gators to avoid a rematch, just like '06 with Ohio State/Michigan

As much as I would like to see the fallout of the Gators being screwed, it just won't happen

The Gators will be the benefactor again and play for the NC
Only this time, they will get Oklahoma, not a wussy Ohio State team

I don't have much doubt that the polls will ensure a Florida/OU matchup. I'd vote the same way, to be honest.

50 votes? are you kidding me? OU creamed the #2 team at the time and creamed mizzou and only gets 9? and they only lost to the #3 team and thats a RIVAL game....

At least the AP poll has no bearing on the BCS. If you sum last week's numbers from the Harris, coach's and computer polls they total (smaller is better):

Oklahoma = 7
Texas = 8
Florida = 12

Glancing over last week's numbers, Florida (4) will have to jump over Oklahoma (2) to the top spot in the coach's poll, have the top spot in the Harris poll, and hope that Texas' strength of schedule doesn't improve too much in the computer poll.

But who knows - the humans have done poll shenanigans before - in fact, just last year.

wheras Florida lost to unranked MIss

At home, too.

i sense bias

Always has been, always will be.

Wow.

Ball State loses their Championship Game, giving them their first loss on the season and they plummet down the rankings 11 spots??

Name me one BCS team that this would happen to.

That's messed up.

C'mon... do you really think Ball State belonged that high in the polls to begin with??
They were only there because they were undefeated. Who had they played??
