in a way...yes, but not before mccann plays and the nl wins the game.
but here's something, what if the al runs out of pitchers first? is that a forfeit by the al?
they did that a few years ago, thats where the internet vote for the final player thing came along.
i like the idea of the league with the better record in interleague play gets home field advantage. that way its not based on 1 game.
The NL still has two pitchers they can use. Right now I'd be calling the bullpen and asking if either of them have ever played 2nd base.
They are 3 for 21 with runners in scoring position I believe. The NL (starring Uggla) are giving them a lot of opportunities.
