Not the best set of tips – but at least the Leeds-Orient tie offered a point's worth of compensation from the day.

Mind, looking at League One there were a lot of draws today – six of the ten fixtures ended as stalemates.

Mmmm yeah on a bad run at the moment.

Nothing until next weekend I don't think.

If we don't win our next three home games we can say goodbye to challenging for the title and will have to be looking backwards pretty seriously.

do you get hazardous duty pay?

I should get a World Cup Starvation Bonus, that's for sure.

Their run so far is reckoned to have netted them £600,000 in prize money, TV cash and gate receipts. Given that HRMC alone are reckoned to be owed over £12m they may well be in either administration or wound up by the time Sixth Round weekend comes around.

Ah, a drop in the bucket, really.

They should auction off the chance to set fire to Mr Portsmouth or something. That should rack up some raffle sales....

They're apparently for sale for one pound plus paying off the present owner.Surely there's enough shysters on Macrumors, we could raise the money by borrowing against the clubs assets a la the Glazers.

I would think the club will have a hard time attracting investment when you could just buy a more stable Championship club and get them promoted...I guess they are cheaper than Newcastle's ridiculous asking price.

EDIT: Any thoughts on the Premier League's idea of having a play-off for the fourth champions League and Europa League spots? I think I know what Rafa thinks....

EDIT2: Bad news on Fellaini, looks like he'll be out for six months...he appears to have injured ankle ligaments in the act of stamping on Kyrgiakos' leg. Still, you never want to see a player out for that long. Everton are really going to miss him in the run-in.

Long time since I posted on here, sorry folks. McSheffrey should score tonight, he was so close on Saturday so many times it's bound to go in eventually - anytime scorer is only just over evens though so zero value.

No real value tonight so I've just had a play with some crazy stuff really. Very small stakes.

Aberdeen -2
Forest -1
Leeds -1
Real -1
Notts County -2 (Wednesday)

360/1 :)p)

Colchester
Leeds
Boro

8/1

Palace
Wednesday
Swansea
Forest

16/1

Also a single on Forest -1. The only real bet of the night.

Hope we're all well chaps.

Just started watching the big Man U - AC Milan match. The standard def feed looks awful.

And just as I type this Ronaldinho scores! Looks a deflected shot. I think he may have had Van der Saar beaten anyway. AC are carving United open again and again...they need to put more of these chances away though, or they'll find themselves in trouble later.

Should be 4-0 AC, instead it's 1-1. Scholes seems to have a knack for scoring goals in Europe when he's not too busy getting carded for silly challenges.

Now United have that away goal.

Wow. How could United dominate vast stretches of that match while playing so poorly? Rafael and Evans were pretty awful in defense, Evra didn't put in a classic performance, Nani was shocking, Scholes was mediocre except for his somewhat fortunate goal in the first half, Carrick was pretty meh. They were fortunate that Milan didn't finish off more of their chances.

Fletcher, Valencia and Rooney really did the job. I would have been happy with just one away goal but they've got Milan in a very tight spot going into the second leg at Old Trafford. Bummer they gave up a late second goal and Carrick picked up a dodgy second yellow (will have to watch the replay to see the time elapsed between Evra's foul and Carrick's "clearance"), but great result!

And congrats to Lyon for holding down Real 1-0!

Actually, add Ferdinand to that tally of poor performances. I thought he looked shaky in the first half. Conversely, I thought Ronaldinho put in a great performance. Rooney is in absolutely top form right now, he carried the team on his back, but whenever United have a bad performance it seems the opposition just fail to take advantage. This tie is so over I wouldn't even bother flying to England If I was AC.

What was the second yellow on Carrick for, kicking the ball away? I couldn't figure it out.

And congrats to Lyon for holding down Real 1-0!

I suspect that the French side are going to have a rough day on the return leg.

Ferdinand was so-so. Had some shaky moments but was more solid in the second half.

Actually, I'd say Park's performance was unheralded. He was unusually positioned in the middle of the pitch, apparently to mark Pirlo out of the game, which he did a pretty good job of. Still, Pirlo nearly connected with Pato on one of his patented incredible through balls but was just a foot or two long with it.

Yes, Carrick kicked the ball away after a foul was called on Evra. Maybe he didn't hear the whistle or just didn't want to take a chance so late in the match while trying to preserve the lead.

I suspect that the French side are going to have a rough day on the return leg.

Ya think? I didn't get to watch this match but Lyon apparently spurned some other good chances, and they probably will regret it in the away leg. Real Madrid isn't exactly Liverpool this season, ya know. :D

I think Real will crush them at the Bernabeu. I'd be shocked to see anything other than a solid win for the Spaniards.

I'm still predicting a Barca repeat though. ;)

Ginger Nut still has it - dummy with one leg and steer the ball in with the other, class:)

Talking of class, John Utaka has got the hump about the rumour he earns GBP 80,000 a week, countering he only earns one-third of that.

Cheers,
OW

Oh my.

THAT was embarrassing.
It's the sort of thing that is very amusing when it happens to other teams, but has you screaming at the players when it's your own.

Any 'keeper should know not to pick up the ball in that situation – just hoof it clear – and that's even before we get to them switching of and letting Porto take advantage with the quick free kick.

Maybe I didn't have the rules right but doesn't the ref have to blow the whistle before a direct freekick can be taken? And was the whistle blown?

Condolences to the Arsenal fans. The tie is still close though.

EDIT: Nevermind, it was an indirect kick.

Aside from the shoddy refereeing (we had a pen shout and he blocked sol too in the second goal) that was abysmal defending.

It's apparent that Fabregas is becoming increasingly frustrated with the team and rightly so in some cases. Who defends like that?!. We haven't had a decent keeper since Seaman it seems.

Someone told me supporting Arsenal can lead to cardiological problems...i'm starting to subscribe to his theory. *Sigh*

Newcastle -1
Notts County -1
Bayern -1
Palace

Grrrrrr. Not on a good run at the mo.

Fenerbache @ 3/1
Anderlacht @ 7/2
Wolfsburg @ 10/3
PSV @ 4/1

Singles and a few doubles. Long odds as they're all away, usually a few odd results in the Europa League and these look good.

Lehmann lost his brains from time to time but was a very good keeper. Currently the pickings are thin....

Lehmann was and is insane. But had he been in between the sticks I'll wager Arsenal would have won today.

I love that story recently about him relieving himself during a match.
