I didn't think it was possible but if Almunia keeps this up he might just save his professional reputation. C'mon you Gunners!!!

Plus, am I the only one who thinks Rosicky should have started instead of cesc with Nasri in the middle?

The problem is, I can imagine him playing a blinder and then making a mistake and conceding a soft, soft goal. 😱
 
Almunia is the least of the Gunners worries, he is at least stopping shots. Wenger has to take the pressure off his defense somehow. And he only has one sub left, so he really can't change his team right now.

Still, we all saw that goal coming a mile away. Arsenal are just in damage limitation mode now.
 
Fabregas cannot finish this game, for sure. So, Arsene has no options anymore...

Last time I have seen Arsenal like this at home was an FA Cup match against Chelsea a few years ago. 🙁
 
You guys think we're simply too nervous starting these games..?

I mean, the first 15 mins orso were really unbelievably bad. Barca is a gr8 team, but come on.
 
Well, Ibra's scored twice in a big European match now...

Arsenal can still fight back in this one but they need a goal NOW. And the away goal disadvantage, with no Cesc in the return fixture...time to send out the reserves for the second leg?

I was just about to post that an Arsenal goal now would put a different complexion on things, and there you go. 😛
