That's crazy.... Good on the Flyers. I did NOT expect that.

No hockey for me tonight..... I'm a little preoccupied with some stuff.

I wish I could watch the Pens/Sens OT right now......

Now if the Avs pull it out, I'll be having an excellent night. Unfortunately, Anderson just gave up a miserable goal after losing an edge and falling.

And I'm putting it on the line here. I'm so confident that the Flyers will lose against the Caps, that if the Flyers win that series, I will buy a high-end 13" Macbook Pro the day after they win.

Since we know that's not going to happen, my bank account remains intact. :D

Samuelsson scores a few and takes the goal scoring lead with 7. Meanwhile Murry sets up Clune to fight Rypien and gets completely destroyed. Fighting to inspire the team, sure, but RYPEIN? Does he know he's one of the best fighters in the NHL?

But what was o'brien thinking? :rolleyes:

Capitals' Eric Belanger loses a handful of teeth, returns to the ice

Belanger says Saturday he "felt my teeth shatter, right away," when Canadiens defenceman Marc-Andre Bergeron's stick hit him in the mouth in the first period of Montreal's 2-1 victory at Washington in Game 5 of their playoff series Friday night.

Belanger needed some serious dental work at the arena, getting exposed tooth roots trimmed — then returned to the ice midway through the third period.

Explains Belanger: "I knew I was in trouble, but what are you going to do? It's the playoffs."

He expects to play in Game 6 at Montreal on Monday.

After Laperriere blocked another shot with his face the other night, he took 70 stitches to his eye. If the game had gone longer, he was going to go back out and play.

I love this sport.

Well, Flyers in. Pens in. Sharks in. Vancouver and Detroit should be in by the end of the day. We're getting closer to the worst time of the year. No hockey on TV. :(

Hopefully we have some great second round series. I just hope the Caps don't embarrass the Flyers too badly.

I am sick to death of Versus' coverage of hockey. They just cut out twice during the Kings game for commercials. Not commercial breaks. Just left the game.

We got a 1 second apology during play when it came back on. "Sorry about those technical difficulties..."
 
^^^^ Well, you won't have to worry about Kings coverage on Versus anymore.:(

Good season for the Kings. Reaching the playoffs was the goal. This team is going to be awesome for the next 5 years at least......
 
really surprsie that the NHL is not susspending Hossa for the hit the Hopefully the preds can rebound tommorow it sucked cause here in nashvile the last 10min and all of Ot was kinda on fade back due to sever weather reports from local stations.

There were some technical difficulties here on CBC too. However, they didn't cut to commercials.

Canucks likely to meet Chicago in the next round. Maybe get some revenge for last year!

Oh, and what about that amazing save by Lou? Save of the series easily

Hossa should have been in the locker room after that hit. And should be sitting in a luxury box in a suit, eating a taco for the next game.

The Kings are going to be great, and I'm glad. We need a shakeup out here in the West. Hope to see Edmonton/Calgary back at it soon. Nice to see Dallas out of it this year. And we were so close to finally getting the Wings out of the playoffs for at least a year.

Looking forward to the games tomorrow.
 
Go Canadiens......This is truly amazing. I don't think I have ever seen better goaltending in my life.

He just beat Theodore's record for most saves in a playoff game....WOW. I am gonna be seriously worried if we(pens) have to see these guys in round three.

So, if the Caps win game 7, it's Flyers/Caps.
If the Caps lose, and Boston wins, it looks like it would be Pens/Flyers? Ouch.

My Flyers will be mauled no matter what, but man I'm enjoying all of the rest of it so far.

Wow, Buffalo's toast? Miller out. Brodeur out. What a year in the playoffs. Very unexpected.

Boston wins :D

If the Caps win, it's #6 Boston vs #4 Pittsburgh and #1 Washington vs #7 Philadelphia.
If Montreal wins, it's #6 Boston vs #7 Philadelphia and #8 Montreal vs #4 Pittsburgh.
