He is. Bwa-ha-ha!

There is talk of bringing the 107% qualifying rule back. Of course at least 4 of the new cars would have qualified for every race under that with all 6 making it in some cases.

I would suspect that Button is on fuel saving mode, so we could see a repeat of Turkey in a bit.

Also good to see Ferrari are still devious whinging gits!

EDIT: Lewis is my driver of the day, purely for that bit of Ferrari bating!

I agree :D

Alonso is too preoccupied with Hamilton, lol that whining its not fair made me laugh.

Boring this race
As always at velencia

Tell that to Webber and Kovalainen ;)

Good for them. If the Red Bull's that much faster he should get past under his own steam. That's what the 'one move' rule is for.

Hmmm, Alonso is struggling to pass Buemi, isn't he!

Yes. But that is for position whereas Hamilton lost time when the back markers were getting lapped.

Hami is catching Vettel by about 0.8 seconds a lap. Schumacher is spanking it again. All for nothing as he's in 17th!

Schumacher is probably pretending the empty track in front of him means he's leading...

When will Kobayashi pit? How long do you loose in a pit stop at this track (very slow pit lane speed limit)?

I'm worried he'll pit on 56. It'd set a dangerous precedent, and really nullify the point of the 2 different tyres per race.

I guess Ferrari have lodged a set of complaints, as three/quarters of the field have been investigated for speeding.

Yep, if you can't over take on the track, lodge complaints and get them all time penalties after the race.

Not sure if Ferrari would need to lodge a complaint: they were too fast under the safety car to pit. Most likely it's fully automatic.

Vettel and Hamilton are not under investigation so Alonso is looking at third at best right now.

I bet it was all kicked off by Ferrari whining about Lewis though...

Trying to work it out, it appears the podium wouldn't change too much. Kobayashi might actually have a chance to hold onto third, but Button would stay ahead of Buemi and Alonso (the next cars not getting penalised I think). Button might end up fourth, depending on where Kobayashi ends up. If they apply grid penalties, then we might have some fun as to who committed the offence first. Since Button pitted first, he might have the penalty applied first.

EDIT: I'd be wrong - Buemi, Alonso and Pedro De la Rosa would all be ahead of Button.

Go Kobayashi! Took the whining baby!

Great move, and if he can take Buemi, potentially third place.

EDIT: He did - some great moves.

So by my reckoning, on 20 secs, Button would be 3rd ahead of Kobayashi/ Buemi/ Alonso. At 30 secs he'd be behind those three.
