Don't like the idea of removing the ban on team orders, feel there would be less racing and overtaking, more of the outcome centred around qualifying and strategy. no2 driving defensively to help protect the main driver.

you mean exactly like now? ;)

removing the ban on team orders wouldn't change absolutely anything in my opinion.
all team would continue using them as they always do, they would just stop lying about it.

edit: apparently now bernie has come out supporting my position (link). mmhh, that's worrying. may be I have to rethink it

Well, I mean worse than now. No more Webber / Vettel clashes or Hamilton / Button.

Can Vettel do it again?

Maybe the third time will be the charm. Let's see if Vettel can avoid a third consecutive lousy start. If he gets through the first corner in first you might as well go back to sleep. This one will be over.

Saw this on the remote control car news blog that I frequent: neobuggy.net

I think this is the only time I have seen Kimi smile: while racing RC cars

He must have heard the ice cream van coming ... :p

For today, I'm going for Senna FTW. Seriously. Anyone not in a Red Bull has the same chance of winning this: nil. Unless Ferrari ask Massa to just take them out on the first corner, this will be processional.

Good start by Alonso, but the race is still going to be ruined by Jonathan Legard. Does he known anything about the sport?! At least James Allen was seriously knowledgeable (and has a great blog). Legard is constantly quietly being corrected by Martin Brundle.

EDIT: Good news for Jenson, as Liuzzi once again messes things up. How is di Resta not driving that Force India?

EDIT 2: Chaos in the pitlane! Not seen anything like this.

What the hells going on?!??

Never seen anything like this before...

Why is there a safety car?
I missed something...

I think Liuzzi lost his nose cone and dumped it on the track. Renault will get fined for the farce that was the crunch - you've got to feel sorry for Sutil.

So much for this being a standard 1-2, it's hopefully turning into an eventful 1-2.

The madness in the pit lane was fantastic, lucky nobody got hit by the flying wheel.

Who says McLaren only get pointless penalties. Kubica with a 10 second stop-go ... in 19th place.

EDIT: And a clutch failure for Hamilton?

Should have just fined the team, not really Kubica's fault...

Oh, Hamilton out...

EDIT: I knew Vettel would get into trouble. I wonder if a knobend in a red car cried about it...

And Vettel for a drive-through??? What is up with Red Bull dropping the ball?

Hopefully he'll make up shed loads of time and do a drive throughand still get back out in front of Alonso...

Quite dumb by Vettel, Webber didn't need that much help, they're about 1 second a lap faster than anyone else. Waving his arms ain't going to help him much either.

The thing I don't get is this could all have been avoided had they brought in to the pits when the safety car came out. This was an open goal, and they've contrived to make it so much harder for themselves.

EDIT: Regarding Barichello, is there anything in the rule against Williams doing a Schumi years ago in and pitting him on the last lap, and then going literally only yards before the start-finish line? I can't remember if the Williams pit box is infront or behind the start-finish line.

Schumi's ********* mental!!
They should disqualify him from the next race!!!

Seb wasn't done for the section where the safety car went in it was the same lap but earlier when he backed them up on the main straight. He dropped the pack 100 meters back from Mark for no reason!

I really hoped Schuey would have left that part of his racing in the past, obviously not.

Vettel needs to grow up, his attitude when he doesn't win is appalling. Driving into the 3rd place board just makes him look like a child.
