BTW, what's up with the loose running 120 mm fan? Cooling a wall wart/power brick or two?

yeah I have a 10 amp power supply running 3 external cases. I just started clean up of wires. In a few days and it will look cleaner. Part of the reason I got the mac pro is to cut down external cases.
 
It's basically a SUA1000 in a different enclosure from what I can tell (Line Interactive, output= pure sine wave).

Definitely prettier IMO, and it has better surge suppression (little over 3k Joules; the RF connectors are nice for what it was meant for, and would help those with cable modems for an ISP connection).

It's the same as the LCD version, minus the LCD display (both models are Line Interactive and stepped wave output).

Personally, I wouldn't touch it.
