Only online. Why not buy it online? They ship very quickly.

Mine arrived the day after my MBP arrived, so I've never used anything else for it. I once was walking down some stairs and had too much in my hands and dropped the MBP in the Vyper sleeve. It hit the step and bounced, end over end, down 4 or 5 steps before it stopped. Not a scratch. Not a dent. Not a flaw. Has run perfectly every day since then. I'm absolutely sold.

the interior of this sleeve looks like a memory kind of foam? where it hugs your mbp. not sure if im right or it just looks that way. the incanse nylon sleeve i have right now has like a fluffy velvety interior. not really PADDED. i'm most likely going to buy it online, just as soon as i find out if i can return the incase sleeve i bought about 3 weeks ago from the apple store.

edit: nvm, the receipt said may 20th. oh well, the booq case will have to wait :(

The interior is soft, but not mushy. It's like a knit or velour.... anyway, this is the best pic I can get with my phone's camera:

nice! looks real good. my sennheiser hd 555 headphones have velour ear cups :p the material sure does feel good on my ears, i can imagine my mbp would like that interior as well :D

There can only be one... Pelican 1080CC.

Fits the 13" MBP perfect and the external dimensions of the hardsleeve are about the same as a normal, unprotected laptop.

First, the OP is buying for a 15", not a 13".

the external dimensions of the hardsleeve are about the same as a normal, unprotected laptop.

Not quite!
Exterior Dimensions: 13.75" x 10.95" x 2.55"
Interior Dimensions: 12.80" x 9.80" x 1.70"
13" MBP Dimensions: 12.78" x 8.94" x .95"
Doesn't look like it would hold it snugly, with almost double the interior thickness of the 13" MBP.

Not to mention it's ugly as sin!:

Just go to their site and choose "By laptop" and they'll show you all products that fit your MBP.

I have not used them (YET!)

I have not used this company (YET!), but HelloRewind takes one of your old t-shirts and turns it into a laptop sleeve for you. Not only is that a cool idea, but they also work with women who are sex trafficking victims to create them. So i think it's a pretty good cause. I'm going to send in a shirt in the near future to check out the service. $50 isn't cheap, but it's not a back breaker.

Looks To Bland and bulky to me..... My opinion but :p
Plus i after a sleeve with a shoulder strap:D

I really like the minimal styling to it. It's classy I think. I don't need a handle or shoulder strap since I'll just plop it in my backpack anyways :D

I LOVE my 555's. Soooo good. A bit too big too walk around with outside though.

+1 to a fellow mbp i7 owner and 555 owner!!!! lol, yeah i love these headphones, i didn't let them burn in enough yet (needs about 100 hours of listening or audio playback). im at about 40. tbh i thought i was gunna use them a lot once i got my mbp. but ive just been so entertained by my mbp to the point where i pay no mind to my 555's that i only got like a month prior to the mbp lol. its like playing witha new toy rather then an old one. anywayssssss i go jogging in my hd 555s ;)

Of course i checked their site but they do not mention which 17" MBP fit in their sleeves ! Maybe there's a slight (millimeter) difference between former MBP and the new ones. Anyway as i quote both official dimensions, it's still unclear whether new MBP do fit in a Vyper XL2. I know it's only a 2mm difference but those 2 mm could very well make my order useless.

ANSWER BELOW

As i emailed Booq's customer service earlier today to enquire about this issue, they already answered the following

The interior compartment of our Vyper XL2 sleeve is lined with a layer HD foam that will flex to accommodate the new 17" Macbook Pro. Thank you.

So looks like it's ok.

Now i'm trying to find the best place to order. Booq's official site charge +8.59$ for Pittsburgh (where i have it sent).
Cheapest sites are ?

Just ordered the Vyper 3 :)

Where did you buy it ? Booq's own site ? Elsewhere ?

well I was looking at the Booq for a 13"...but I'm not going to be taking my macbook pro out that much and I dont think the 60$ is worth it just yet, so I'm looking at the Isis Nuoveua, or however its spelled. It has memory foam, which is better than neoprene, and its only 22 bucks.

Do you know how to navigate websites? All it takes is reading, then pointing and clicking! If you click "By Laptop" then select "Find Your Laptop Bag" you can select your specific model. It even shows you the exact dimensions, along with a list of booq bags that fit it.

Each bag also shows the max dimensions that will fit it.

Right, i don't know where i got my first size details earlier today from but they did mention 391mmx264mm, so my question wasn't that stupid or pointless.
Now i can see 393x267mm on Booq's site too just as you do, so of course i wouldn't have asked the question.

You might not believe me but i think that Booq updates their sizecharts today after reading my email when it was too short of 2mm for 2010 MBPs.
I'm pretty sure they did mention the wrong sizes until today.

Anyway, end of story.
All i want to know now is where the best deal is to order it.

Those sizes were exactly the same last week. I know, because I was recommending a Vyper and checked it.

The best place to order it is from booq.

The dimensions have been identical for all versions of the unibody 17" MBP.

and XL2 models size:

391mm
264mm
25mm

Where did i get those sizes from this afternoon then ? I didn't make them up.
Anyway, chapter closed.
Booq's site: 55+8$ for Pennsylvania (where my friend lives and will hand it on to me when he comes back here next month)
Amazon (via Semson's): 55$ free shipping.

But Amazon customers comments complain about zippers jamming or being fragile.

Mine are at least 2-3 years old so I'm sure the burn in is fine on them. I mainly use them for gaming since I don't like using my PFEs unless I'm at the gym or walking around outside, plus the ear cups are just so comfortable. The new MBP speakers sure are loud though, surprisingly loud for such a small laptop.

My 555s have an incredibly long cord so... no jogging or doing anything outside haha

Edit: Oh and lazarus I bought it off the Booq website. Bought it Wednesday and it shipped today (Thursday) and it's getting here tomorrow (Friday)

Incase Neoprene! Absolutely the best. Though the white inside is easy to stain, and I'm not sure how to clean it when I do :p

.

No intention to continue the story but i found out where i got it wrong:
http://www.booqbags.com/All-Products/Taipan/Taipan-skin-XL-black-macbook-pro-sleeve

I was (first) watching the TAIPAN model before posting about the VYPER and kept the TAIPAN dimensions in mind. That explains it all.
So sorry for sounding like a pain in the *** but i wasn't lying or trying to be more stupid than i am.

The Vyper looks great, but for all those that have it, or similar cases, don't you worry about scratching your MBP when it's outsides the case? Or don't you really see that as an issue?

I'm thinking either the Vyper, or the Incase hardcase which will provide some protection all the time.
