Best of luck to all, especially my first victim, oops I mean opponent, Berlin Pretzels (creator2456). :D

Hey now, who has the lead as we speak until Sunday? I do :D

So....Brett Favre is doing horrible. As is Pierre Thomas. The two people I have that're playing right now :p.

I expected more from Favre....And expected a LITTLE more from Thomas.

Pierre Thomas gave you a great game of 17 points. I think the Saints will do more running like we saw tonight so you'll be just fine this season. Favre is a different story. It really looked like he had little to no chemistry with any of the receivers. AP can only do so much and people will quickly figure out that Shianco is Favre's go to guy and shut him down like the Saints did in the second half. You could be in for a long season at the QB position.

Give him some time. He starts to fire up about game 3-4. Remember he really didn't have a pre-season. I think he will start lighting it up and you will be very very happy! I am also betting on him as I have him in another league also.

I dont know if your seeing a diffrent Favre than I am but to me he looked like what he did when he lost in the NFC Championship in the news Conferences I think the Viking will just barely make the wild card and I think it will be because of there D. the only way they lost that game last night was because of the refs.

What do you mean by the refs? I don't recall any major missed calls that affected the outcome of the game? What are you referring to?

I won't disagree with that. But he didn't have a pre-season. Now if he continues this way then well I think it is going to be a long season for the Vikings.

Seemed like a pretty well ref'ed game to me. However as a Saints fan I wasn't impressed by what I saw. I'm too much of a realist to blindly assume we're going to repeat. That being said, Drew will put up some monster numbers this season. So will the RB's IMO if they stick to the run like they did in the second half. Yikes that O-Line was manhandling the Vikes.

Megatron was robbed today IMO; he aint on my team so I'm not really sweating it but just saying...that rule is iffy at best. Ref FAIL.

Upon further review I must amend my previous statement to read, "Rule FAIL". :p
Can't blame the zebra's for doing their job but man that play really has to sting Detroit...they got mugged on that one.

The Jets big "D" pulled through and got me the much needed victory!,,,

Lucky you. That was stupid. I knew it would be close..but didn't know it would be that close. And once I saw you were down by like 10 points, and only had your Def to play, I was just like "Okay I won".

Week 1 Results

Wow, what an exciting week one for our fantasy season. There were some players that stepped up big and others that really disappointed. So, here's the weekly matchup results:

Dallas mscriv 142 vs. Berlin Pretzels (creator2456) 126

Michigan Chunzilla (stonyc) 124 vs. NE Patriots (maflynn) 97

Team rhett7660 123 vs. Dharma Initiative (fireshot91) 121

German Chocolate (nobunaga209) 82 vs. Team Macfan881 63

Miller High Life (barr08) 76 vs. Team wvuwhat 98

Pound Town Express (bamaworks) 93 vs. Team Gauchoholics 121

As you can see above yours truly posted the highest team score of the week. However, I also win the bonehead of the week award for leaving Arian Foster on my bench.

Studs of the week:
RB - Arian Foster of the Houston Texans puts up 42 points on 230+ rushing yards, 1 reception and 3 TD's against the Colts. (on mscriv's team)
QB - Peyton Manning scores 39 points on 433 passing yards and 3 TD's against the Texans. (on wvuwhat's team)
WR - Chad Ochocinco manages 33 points on 12 catches for 159 yds and a TD against the Patriots. (on maflynn's team)
TE - Dallas Clark totals 25 points on 11 receptions for 80 yds and a TD against the Texans. (on mscriv's team)
DEF/ST - The Seahawks D puts up 19 points on 2 interceptions, a defensive TD, 2 sacks, and holding the 49ers to only 6 points scored. (free agent)
K - John Kasay posts 11 points on 3 field goals (one 50+ yds which is worth 4 points) and 1 extra point against the Giants (free agent)

Some key injuries this week will obviously bring about some changes in week 2. Keep in mind you can always set up a trade and as long as it's fair I'll be happy to approve it.

I hope you all are having as much fun as I am already, so keep the trash talking coming and let's look forward to a great week 2. :)
