Yeah. I don't think they're going to be able to score a TD. Just not enough on offense.

It's a shame - The Texans absolutely need to create a turnover here...even if they give up a field goal, you just don't see them being able to drive the field and score a touchdown.

It's going to be a long off season if they lose by 4 or 7....That Jacoby Jones play may be one of the most boneheaded things I've ever seen...And it really could be the play that cost the Texans a trip to Foxboro.

And we continue to put him in the backfield, it's time to put jones in street clothes, he's been inconsistent all season. The Texans are still in the game, but if they pull it off, it will be a miracle.

Wow, terrible decision on that throw by TJ Yates. I thought they had a chance for the tie on this drive, but - rookie QBs in the playoffs sometimes equals disaster.

Looks like we'll get Baltimore. I hope we repay them for that embarrassing home loss in 2009.

Barring a miracle - it looks like the season is over for the Texans.

Still an amazing season for the Texans...and of course injuries are part of the game, but you can't help but think what might have been had Schaub been in there.

Next year will definitely be exciting - with a healthy Schaub and this defense, it would be no surprise if we're seeing them here again next year.

Hah, most boneheaded play indeed

We put up a good fight there, I'll chalk this season up as a success for the Texans, and I think TJ Yates really stepped up for a third string QB who should have never even seen a snap this year.

Agreed. The Texans had a great year, they have nothing to be ashamed of.

early 2000s form is back.

what? did you even watch the patriots in the early 2000s? this pats team is the complete opposite of those teams. the early 2000s teams (especially 03' and 04') were all about defense. the offense was decent, tom brady was still learning.

now tom brady is a master of his craft, the offense is the best it has ever been, and the defense is just enough to get by. the teams don't compare, and especially brady doesn't compare. he is so much better now it's scary. if you put 2011 Brady on the 2003 Patriots they would have ran the table 19-0 without a doubt.

this was totally expected

maybe, but everyone expected the pats to beat the jets last year too. it's why they play the game.

that said, you need to chill. the patriots haven't won ****. your posts read like we just won the super bowl. we have to beat baltimore first.

told you, NE's coach is top. number 1 in the NFL.

everyone knows belichick is king. don't need to rub it in and come off as an arrogant ass.

i told you DEN should not even "get on the bus." eat it. i hope Tee-bag breaks his leg in the off-season.

classy. this is the kind of crap that gives us pats fans a bad name.

I remember the early 2000s Patriots. Isn't that when they were using cameras to photograph the opponents sideline play calling ?

oh please, not this crap again. they taped from outside the "authorized video booths" big deal. so did other teams. none of the tapes were ever used in the game that was currently being played. like Queen of Spades said, anyone who brings this up, or claims the patriots were "running up the score" (i actually saw that somewhere today) clearly just have an agenda against the patriots, and it's actually quite pathetic at this point.

What's the excuse for our success this year? Hacking opponents' computers?

Come on, hacking their computers is so 2008. Belichick obviously hacked their iPads!

you keep the QB in ... he twists his ankle or bangs his throwing hand on someones helmet ... you then send a message to the whole sports world ... "look we're losers"

No. Taking him out is the losers mentality. A football game is 60 minutes long. Championship teams play the full 60 minutes, every game, no exceptions.

I'm half convinced he's a Jets fan trying to make us look bad (sorry Moyank). I don't remember him around here much in the early part of the season, and now all he does is talk crap - and not even entertainingly. I'm a Patriots fan and I find it annoying.

We haven't won anything yet, so chill on the douche canoeing.

a 31st ranked defense will not be enough to get by the Ravens

The key matchup will be the Patriots offense vs. the Ravens defense. And let's not forget who has the 32nd ranked defense - the mighty Packers.

yardage allowed means jack ****. pats were 15th ranked defense by points allowed. the only thing that matters at the end of the day is what it says on the scoreboard. that said, neither of those rankings mean anything anymore. that was regular season. this is the playoffs. it is a completely different animal.

Yeah I agree, it is quite annoying. Real fans know you haven't won **** until you are hoisting the Lombardi trophy.
