The key matchup will be the Patriots offense vs. the Ravens defense. And let's not forget who has the 32nd ranked defense - the mighty Packers.

no Defense is why you will see NE and GB sent packing next week ... Baltimore and San Francisco will play for the SuperBowl

And despite my arguments with einmusiker, I say that with no sarcasm. The Packers are 15-1 for a reason, yet according to the stats they give up the most yards of any team in the league. So clearly those rankings don't tell the whole story.

yardage allowed means jack ****. pats were 15th ranked defense by points allowed. the only thing that matters at the end of the day is what it says on the scoreboard. that said, neither of those rankings mean anything anymore. that was regular season. this is the playoffs. it is a completely different animal.

Exactly. Anyone watching that game last night knows the Patriots looked at the very least - competent on defense.

We'll see, I suppose. I won't lie, I really prefer the Patriots being overlooked. I think it works in our favor and it's a position we can exploit.

I agree ... would like to see the G-Men pull this out

this is looking more and more like it for "The Packer Dynasty" ... one SB

The lead is not comfortable enough when you have a guy like Rodgers with all of his great receivers. He has to have zero time on the clock to be able to rest.

I sure hope the Giants win, so S.F. has to face them instead of Rodgers and company who racked up their 15-1 record.

i am certainly disappointed with Green Bay. I'm not a fan of the Giants so i'm hoping they can some how stop Eli.

Hmmmm, seems to be an eerie absence of Green Bay chest thumping going on in here. I'm not used to it... but it is nice

I was going to post something snarky, but decided against it. Dumb or not, I believe in sports schadenfreude. I don't need to break out the salt, I'm sure those wounds sting enough.

Giants/Niners should be a great NFC Championship game.

Not trying to be snarky
Just enjoying the break from the bravado

Oh no, you weren't at all. I was planning on posting something truly rude, ha. Some GB fans have been more than arrogant throughout this thread. But it's not worth being a jerk about it. I try to remember some of the more horrid losses I've endured as a sports fan.

Yours was totally fine and civil.
