You guys are right, I had the wrong draft pick.

My point still stands about FO's killing themselves with dumb moves... which makes the Grizzlies an anomaly then b/c they got better after the dumb move?

Look, I'm not going to lie and say I'm not feeling extreme bitterness at the moment, which makes me biased. It's just lame, the Lakers never seem to have to go through any rebuilding periods whatsoever. It's aggravating, unfair, and I'm sick of them. I'm sure it's all wonderful if you're a Lakers fan - if you're not, it bites. Only the Commissioner basically breaking the rules stopped them from getting Chris Paul for a bag of sweat socks. Now this.

But no, I don't have any answers for moron GMs that seem to enjoy emptying their safes for the Lakers.

That's okay.... all part of being a fan and nobody feels worse than Orlando fans now. Even us Laker fans thought once PJ left and Jerry Buss passed the torch to his son, who then went out and fired the whole FO and replaced them his friends, it was gonna be like the Hamblen days where the Lakers wouldn't make the playoffs. Now it turns out Jim Buss is way more competent than we thought.

Support your team. Boston is a contender, I don't care what sportswriters say - top 5 pg, top 5 coach, extremely vet savvy, and you guys just replaced Ray Allen with Jason Terry, who single-handedly destroyed the Lakers 2 years ago.

I always support my team - some of us fans have actually had to support our teams through the thin periods. And I'm not worried about the Celtics, they always fight and make us proud even if the chips are stacked against them (which they are, again). We don't have it the worst by a long shot.

I'm just sick of watching the same teams reap the trade/FA lottery. It makes things incredibly boring when you know certain teams have no chance at making themselves better unless they totally tank and draft a superstar franchise player - and that is far from guaranteed.

Although if the Lakers or Heat don't win the championship next year, they'll be considered failures, and that makes me feel better. **** both of those teams.
