Thread seems to need some love. :D

Looks like 10.6.7 is out and has fixed this issue. I have yet to download 10.6.7 but I am hopeful.

Thanks to all that participated in this thread. With your help and the help with the folks on the Apple thread helped get a resolution quicker than I anticipated.

I am on 10.6.7 and it appears that it is indeed fixed :D

Currently streaming a film from my iTunes library to my iPhone

Slightly OT but the latest updates have broken home sharing

I'm using a white intel iMac sharing to a 2nd gen ATV. Worked great until the latest iOS update. Now it won't play any protected content in my library. It can see the programs but says the Mac isn't authorised to play them. The iMac is able to play them just fine.

The latest update to ATV software 4.2.1 fixed the problems caused by the 4.2 update. -- Anyone still running 4.2 should update to 4.2.1.

(our iMac is on 10.5.x so the 10.6.7 update is not available to us)

Updated Apple TV, Updated OSX, still not working consistently. My old MacBook Black connects flawlessly to the same setup without fail. This is beyond lame.
