I know it's still early in this game but Matt Ryan is already on pace to come up very small in the playoffs once again. I keep rooting for the guy as he's local but it's becoming harder. Maybe he'll take this turn over and do something with it.

Story of his career. Puts up big numbers all season and then when it matters most he usually chokes.

Why the hell did the Broncos take a knee with 0:30 and 2 timeouts left in the 4th? You have Peyton Manning, the best quarterback in league history not named Brady or Montana, and you don't even give him a shot to make a couple of plays down field and get in to range for a field goal attempt (at mile high no less, where you have longer range than everywhere else).

I have no idea why Fox had Manning take a knee. The fans were booing his decision.

that'd be about a wash

fixed that for ya

What's up with you and this "system" garbage? We know you don't like the Patriots, but nonsense like this doesn't further or enhance the discussion at all.

Every team has a system. It's probably the stupidest argument I've ever heard in any sport when trying to compare players.

You can't point to a single great player that didn't play on a team that had a system in place to make that player succeed to the best of their ability. That's how sports work. On the other hand, there are loads of players who could never pick up any system and didn't make it in the league at all.

But you wanna talk quarterbacks?

The 49ers had a system for Montana and Young. The Dolphins had one for Marino. The Packers had one for Favre. The Broncos had one for Elway. The Colts had one for Manning (which he brought with him to Denver). The Steelers have one for Roethlisberger. The Giants have one for Eli, the Ravens have one for Flacco, the Falcons have one for Ryan, etc etc.

See how stupid that argument is? Every single player who has ever had success in this league is a "system" player because they excelled in the system that they were drafted/signed/traded in to.

If I was the Broncos GM I would be firing him tomorrow morning. You invest almost 100 million dollars in to Manning for that exact situation and then you don't even let him go out and play? Worst coaching decision of any team for this entire season.

While it was a bad decision, I think that this would be an over-reaction. In my opinion, the Broncos loss rests squarely on the defense & Peyton Manning. Champ Bailey got burned by Torrey Smith for a 60 yard and 32 yard TDs. And Manning threw a pick-six.

I wouldn't worry. I just woke up and started watching. Seattle loses every time I watch.

Today ? Falcons 33-10

The rookie in Russell Wilson finally caught up to him. That doesn't surprise me because it was bound to happen. What is surprising is how SEA defense is playing. All year they played quick, fast and physical but today, seems like they can't keep up with ATL's offense.

Fellas I live for these types of games. I swear if any of you were here I'd buy you all beers(or lemonade if you don't drink)!!!!!

Here here

I'm starting to think part of Seattle's game plan is to troll the other team. Let their opponent get a lead and then in the second half, beat them when the other team is cocky! :D HAHAHA
