Serious question, Jets fans. Who would you rather have as your QB:

1. Mark Sanchez
2. Tim Tebow
3. Mark Sanchez/Tim Tebow split duty or some sort of hybrid

None of the above is not an answer, btw.

Most Jets fans would probably have Joe Namath, even now at 68 and even right after he left the bar.

susie kobler says he's a good kisser tho...

In all seriousness the recent ESPN sportumentary on him was really good. I learned a lot of cool things about him and the status of the league in those days. He really broke the mold as far as salary structure and endorsements. Today's players truly owe him for a lot of the benefits they have today.

The drinking problem just reminds us that he's human and reportedly things are much better now. The live TV incident with Kolber was a catalyst to him coming out of denial and getting help with his alcoholism.

Mark Sanchez give him some consistency in running the offense and hope that he develops into a true franchise QB this year.... if he is still regressing like last year then its time to cut ties and explore other options.

But I'm sure we will see #3 with Tebow being worked into some wildcat packages which is sooooo 2009. I feel like that play just doesnt work anymore after it was all the rage in 2009.

I think the punishments against the Saints are fully deserved. They were significantly increasing the chance of deliberately and seriously injuring a player. After being explicitly told not to do it, they lied about it and continued the bounties.

That would combine two of the things this Browns fan detests conveniently in the same place. ;)

You me the Steelers would be hated more by the Browns than they already are by the Ravens? Wow, that would make for some great games.

Browns fans are split on the issue. Most hate Pittsburgh more than Baltimore. Personally, I hate Pittsburgh because they are our old rivals, and always will be. Baltimore I simply hold in contempt, because they stole our team, stole our coach, and employ a murderer in defense.

Of course, many Browns fans think that The NFL has made us pay dearly for suing them and Art Modell to get our team back. They will not let us win anything until we have been sufficiently punished for having the balls to make them give us an expansion franchise (and to keep the rights to our team name and colors) in return for taking our team to Baltimore. We dragged them before congressional hearings for crying out loud, and they didn't like that at all.

Ironically, as a born and almost raised Pittsburger, I've never really hated the Browns. (I'm hoping to move back to Pittsburgh when I retire, as I cannot wait to get out of one of the most corrupt states in the union - Illinois.)

The dirty bird Ravens, that is a different story, I can't stand them. The other teams I really don't like are The Cowboys, Raider's and 49er's. Oh and right up there with the Ravens are the Patriots. Basically I'm an AFC guy, unless the Patriots are playing. In fact it did my heart good to see the Giants beat the Patriots AGAIN!!!

I have family and good friends in Pittsburgh. My hatred for Pittsburgh is of a purely sporting nature.

Thieves, crooks and murderers.

The only other team I really dislike are Denver, for obvious reasons.

The RAIDERS don't really like you either. =)

its funny when he took the Jets to two straight AFC championships and made the team relevant his first 2 seasons as a head coach he was the man and the trash talking and boasting didn't really bother anyone..... But the minute you have one losing season all of a sudden you're a problem:rolleyes:

nah, i've always thought he was the problem.

NFL schedule was released yesterday.

Something to get us through the next 4+ months. :)

As a Jets fan the only thing that's going to get me through the next 4+ months is alcohol. And to make it easier I've created a drinking game - every time we have to hear useless crap about Tim Tebow I drink.

It's excruciating and it's only April. I can't imagine how bad it's going to get when training camp begins. Ugh.

you should probably schedule in a couple stints in rehab this month. If you watch first take you'll be on permadrunk

I'm really dreading our games with the Jets this year thanks to the endless Tebow hoopla - so I feel for you. Can't believe you ended up with that asshat on your team.

Draft night! Really hoping the Patriots do something different and trade up for Mark Barron - but they never do what I want them to do, which is good, because they're usually right and I'm usually wrong.

As long as they draft defense, defense, and more defense, I'll be happy.
