I think Missouri is gonna get spanked by Georgia.

Florida/A&M is interesting. Kyle Field is an intimidating place to play. I don't understand 95% of what those crazy effing Aggies do, but they sure are loud. :)

  • I think UGA wins by about 10, but the game is very much in doubt in the 4th Quarter.
  • I think A&M wins a close one over Florida.
  • Mississippi State over Auburn. Chizik is a terrible coach and Cam is a distant memory.

Also, I didn't see it mentioned before so I'm just going to post this without comment, steve2112.

I hope y'all are right about the Dawgs
This game scares me for several reasons:

Dawgs traditionally stumble in these situations
Unknown foe on the road
First SEC game for Mizzou
Defense missing too many players
OL young, inexperienced, thin and banged up
Mizzou with something to prove, Dawgs everything to lose

I think the Aggie / Gator game is close
Depends on how well the Gators adjust this week from what they learned in week 1
Should be an interesting game with a lot of excitement

Chizik is a terrible coach and that will become even more evident
But Miss State doesn't quite have the talent
This one will be close too

All 3 could go either way IMO
As long as the Dawgs win, screw the other two games :p

Had to go and drag that one up, didn't ya? One slow lineman gets in the way, and boom, people fall like Dominoes. Mullen was laughing about that afterwards.

I think we can beat Auburn, but I don't know if we will. We have been jinxed against them the past couple of years. A dropped pass in 2010, and our QB getting stopped by a guy weighing 20 lbs less on the goal line last year. They looked good at times vs. Clemson, but also looked bad at others.

I think Old Man Football will win out vs. Missouri, though Richt has stumbled in similar situations before. I have no idea on Florida/A&M. I watched the Florida game last week, and they didn't look good, especially on offense.

Funny how people think aTm is loud...It may be, but how can it be any louder than the SEC Cathedrals?

People actually yelling louder, or the # of people maybe?

We may not be louder than other SEC crowds but we're right there with them. The main reason is because students are far louder than alumni and at Kyle Field the student section is right around 30,000 (tops in the nation), plus it occupies pretty much the entire east side of the field (the visiting team's sideline).

Can't wait to make the trip out to the Swamp next year (or whenever it ends up being once the new scheduling format is finalized).

Sorry A&M, Corso picked the Aggies... kiss of death ;)

Looks like the Dawgs have not reinstated any of the defensive players
No Ogletree, no Rambo, no Cummings :(

Hopefully MMitchell will be back from the ankle, but that is suspect

Defense needs to rise to the occasion and make some big plays
OLine needs to grow up in a hurry and protect Murray
Murray needs to lead with maturity, experience and poise (and hit the deep ball)
Running backs need to run hard and strong
No mistakes on special teams

Yeah, lots of things concerning me right now
But I still like the Dawgs in this one

Hmmmm, I over estimated Auburn's resolve

This is the Auburn team we all expected when Chizik was hired sans Newton
But congrats to the "other" Bulldogs, those wannabe mutts from Mississippi State :)

Bummer day for Penn State - that kicker is very, very lonely right now. Four missed field goals and an extra point. Wow!

I watched the entirety of the USC/Syracuse game, and I'm not sold on the Trojans. Obviously they have one of the best QBs in the game and a pair of crazy good receivers. But they seem really lacking down in the trenches on both sides of the ball. It's definitely not what you're used to seeing from a USC squad.

This UCLA/Nebraska game is entertaining! More than I can say about our game. :(

Thanks. It looks like we may have a real QB for once in my life. Honestly, I was shocked they played so badly. They looked pretty good against Clemson, so I figured they would be a tough matchup. Looks like they need to come up with another $200k for another QB.

BTW, those East Dawgs better find their offense. It's been a defensive slugfest so far!

Chizik on the hot seat?
I hear Petrino is available ;)

The Dawgs are playing gutless and uninspired football on offense
Murray isn't leading and showing maturity
The defense is playing well enough
But the offense needs to impose its will

Sloppy and disappointing
Dawgs are in for a long season if their offense doesn't start playing with urgency

Nah, Kentucky is going to hire Petrino! :)

Now the defense is getting worn out. Mizzou had two easy scores. Murray is also getting abused. I'm just wondering if this is one of those infamous Richt "WTF" games, or a sign of things to come.

Sheesh, we win by 3 TDs and I feel like we are losing the whole game
Thank God for Jarvis Jones

I am grateful for the win because this is usually the game we let get away
The defense played well, except for a few big plays
We will be improved when we get our 5 suspended starters back

The offense though... gee whiz... so many dang false starts
The OL has to start growing up and protecting too
And Murray has got to connect and play like a veteran
A missed PAT? WTF?

I can understand if the defense was struggling without their starters
But man, the offense should be clicking
Better get tuned up next game cause after that we go on an SEC run

So, A&M is back to their old "we won the first half" ways

We knew Arkansas was gonna be in trouble with their off season distractions
But who knew it would be this bad?
Yeah, they lost their QB in the first half, but still...

And I actually picked Oregon State to upset Wisconsin

^^^ hahahahaha!

Someone tell me something about Ole Miss. Seems we've both played a couple of patsies, so it's hard to see how this will play out.

I'm an Ole Miss grad and will be the first to tell you that next week will be a blowout for texas.

Georgia really got their act together in that second half. They need to play like that the whole game, or the SEC schedule could be painful. Good game, though. That defense is pretty nasty.

I figured Arkansas would have a rough year, but wow. Poor Tyler Wilson took a beating. I feel their pain, since we were ULM's (then Northeast Louisiana) first victory as a 1-AA school in 1995. It sucked.

They are still a patsy, and I hope Texas blows 'em out. Not that I'm biased or anything. :D

OK, I will say they have looked better than last year, but after a 2-10 season, that isn't saying a lot. The passing game has looked pretty good, but the running game is questionable.
