wow I guess teams around the league see the Patriots in a certain way lol:

Multiple teams called Seattle, unsolicited, with advice on how to secure the team’s practices for the Super Bowl. Their message was clear: You’re not playing John Fox’s Broncos again. You’re facing Bill Belichick and the Patriots. You never know who might be watching.

LOL. Good to see BSPN living up to it's reputation as the National Enquirer of sports. More unsubstantiated nonsense, paranoia, and telling us stuff we already knew. At least they're showing their true colors as the mouth piece for the NFL with this attempt at damage control.

Yeah, the Patriots taped signals. Who cares, taping signals isn't illegal. Stealing signals isn't illegal. Just like baseball, it's part of the game. The only rule the Patriots broke was the camera placement in week 1 of 2007, after the league sent out a memo that offseason saying not to do that anymore.

That's all that's ever been proven. The rest is unsubstantiated nonsense by teams who have Belichick so far in their heads it's not even funny. Belichick's officially become the modern day Red Auerbach.

Hope the rest of the league enjoys watching the banner ceremony on Thursday.

Man I hate to break it to you but the fans from the rest of the league just aren't as interested in the Pats as Pats fans are.

:D

Damage control? This makes the league and Goodell look even worse.

I'm not really as excited about Thursday night, that's just a teaser... plus I'll have to hear the announcers talk ad nauseam about the patriots cheating. But Sunday i am super pumped for the rest of the league to kickoff. usually around this time I am laser focused on Football, but My Mets are doing so great that I kind of have one eye on baseball and one eye on football. exciting times!

Agreed. I'll watch the game Thursday, but I'll be looking forward to the Broncos home opener on Sunday.

Pats had a big night. Steelers did okay for having some players out.
Yeah, but what was concerning to me was that Pittsburgh seem to be able to march down the field fairly easily.

Patriots broadcasting network in your headsets.

Priceless.
Lack of air pressure I suspect :p

Seriously the home team does not control this, and if something is wrong the coach needs to complain to the officials who then ask both teams to stop using the head sets.

From the Steelers website:

NO SURPRISE AT ALL
This is the kind of stuff that happens to the visiting team in Gillette Stadium all the time. From the start of the game through the opening 14 minutes of the first quarter, the Steelers’ coaches’ headsets were receiving the Patriots Radio Network broadcast of the game. The broadcast was so loud that the Steelers coaches were unable to communicate, and the NFL rule is that if one team’s headsets are not working the other team is supposed to be forced to take their headsets off. It’s what the NFL calls the Equity Rule. Strangely enough, whenever an NFL representative proceeded to the New England sideline to shut down their headsets, the Steelers headsets cleared. Then as the representative walked away from the New England sideline, the Steelers’ headsets again started to receive the Patriots game broadcast.

I'm a Cowboys fan, but I'm not sure how to feel about this. Deflate gate is complete garbage, but this issue is a different story altogether.

You can't make this stuff up. This damn team is just annoying already.

Typical crybaby Steelers trying to distract from the fact that they laid an egg last night. Grown men acting like kindergartners crying to mommy.

1) Headsets are controlled solely by NFL personnel.
2) Patriots headsets were having the same issues last night too.
3) When one teams headsets stop working, the league turns the other teams off until the problems are resolved to prevent any advantage.

Maybe the Steelers should try coaching better and not leaving Gronk uncovered when he's split out wide in the red zone instead of reaching for ******** excuses and conspiracy theories. Sore losers.

Can't let reality get in the way of crybaby sour grapes.

FOXBORO -- A possible "grounding issue" was causing communication issues for both the Steelers and Patriots coaches Thursday night at Gillette Stadium.

And don't get me wrong, I hate the Steelers and their criminal quarterback, but I'm equally as tired of the problems associated with the Patriots.

But I completely understand if both teams are having communications issues.

yes the whole league is full of crybaby's and everyone has sour grapes. the Patriots are the most amazing thing in the universe and can do no wrong ever.... and anyone who says otherwise even if different teams say it over and over again is just jealous of their greatness and has a serious case of sour grapes. There is always a perfectly good explanation for all these things that just so happen to occur in foxboro with the patriots... The nerve of these crybabies to challenge the amazing Patriots and their outstanding fans

I'm just sick of loser teams and their unsubstantiated whining and conspiracy theories. They should spend less time making excuses and more time game planning and maybe they could beat us.

Hell, Big Ben was also whining last night as well about the Patriots DL shifting pre snap and causing false starts. They even said they saw it on film from last year yet still fell for it. Nice game planning.

Social media has created an idiot echo chamber where morons continue to repeat the same garbage until the majority begin to think its fact. It doesn't matter that the league controls the headsets, the Patriots had issues too with them, and the league confirmed it was their fault due to a grounding issue. It's an excuse for the losers to whine and try to twist the story to fit their preconceived narrative.

When anyone can produce any concrete proof of anything other than putting a camera in the wrong spot for one game in 2007, maybe these sour grapes could be taken seriously. Until then, it's just sour grapes from loser teams who have Belichick so far in their heads they spend more time concocting conspiracy theories and cheating whining than trying to win the game.

Shout out to the Seahawks for being the only team in recent memory to take their loss to the Pats like men and not like cry babies.

I'm a Pats supporter and will enjoy the season. You guys can chop your heads off, if you need to. And the urge seems to be rising - on both sides - for no real reason whatsoever.

If it was 2 or 3 teams saying it then I agree 100% but when you have about 12+ teams in a league of 32 saying the same thing then come on man you have to believe there is something there, maybe not to the extent that the media is making it seem, but there are some shady practices that have taken place. And I know you're a fan so you're not going to agree, lets just agree to disagree but law of averages man where there is a mountain of smoke there had to be at least a little fire.

Even the seahawks who took the loss "like men" had the area around their practice area scanned by law enforcement before the superbowl looking for cameras and in the surrounding mountain areas. Nobody does that when they are playing another team.

How many millions of dollars have those teams lost out on because they always lose to the Patriots? The Pats have been a huge middle finger towards the NFLs "parity" for 15 years and its made Kraft billions. Its pretty obvious where the grapes come from.

This same thing happened with Red Auerbach and the Celtics back in the day. Winning breeds contempt and dominance makes it worse.

The NFL says it will review what happened with the headsets during Thursday night’s game in New England, but the league is reiterating that the Patriots did not provide the communications devices that malfunctioned.

This latest thing just further illustrates my point. It's clear it's the NFLs fault yet the Steelers still want to cry about it. They should be crying about their piss poor coaching. You leave Gronk uncovered in the red zone? No wonder they lost. Lol
