I hate how good Jay Cutler was yesterday. He made a couple of Philip Rivers/Aaron Rodgers type throws.

I'm concerned that Aaron Rodgers had the most rushing yards yesterday. He knows when to get down but I hope it doesn't evolve to where he's running for his life on every play. Great way to get injured.

Hard loss for Raiders, but Oakland is starting to look better overall. Season is still young and I think they can still do well.

49ers are at bad start but maybe the new coach isn't that good or just getting warmed up and this season is "rebuilding" at best and may be a 6-10 year.

You have a quarterback, which is a huge portion of the battle.

The only think that has Seattle at 2-3 is a very bad offensive line and an equally bad defensive coordinator.

Look at Dan Quinn. Left the best defense in the league to coach the Falcons who are 5-0.

I wish we had him back.

yeah, just making conversation. i guess won't bother anymore though.
Why would you do that? I didn't mean to sound rude in my reply above.

I am the one who really shouldn't be commenting much on football. I only watch the Bronco games and honestly, I couldn't tell you 99% of the players names and what the defense/offense even is.

Agreed. Oakland has the nucleus to build on and I think they are just a year or two away from the playoffs.

I hope this is the case. It would be a dream come true. First after more than a generation we see the Warriors go all the way and it would be icing on the cake for Oakland to see the Raiders do it. The players are there and there's a pride in Oakland that hasn't been seen in a very long time. SF Niners had some good teams but are on the rebuilding side of things and won't see playoffs for a few years at best. San Francisco's contribution to the Bay Area will have to still come from their baseball team. I don't think the Niners will do anything big with Kap at this point and he peaked early in his career.

These things go in cycles, at least for the Bay Area, but for the stuggling 49ers, there's the hope that it's only early in the season. Many don't want to admit it but Coach Harbaugh was the real MVP.

yeah he was. and few crybabies ruined it for him/the fans.

Geez, the Cowboys are desperate for a QB. We Clevelanders could've told them Brandon Weeden was no damn good. He's now lost his last 11 starts. So who are they turning to? Matt Cassel. An improvement, I suppose...in the same way a rusted-out 2002 Oldsmobile is an improvement over a rusted-out 1999 Oldsmobile.
