They were just trying to get the Patriots to burn a timeout. They weren't supposed to snap the ball. Pagano's job is on the line so he pulled out all the stops, and it almost worked.

They also got a penalty on the play, so even if it had worked it wouldn't have worked. I doubt Pagano finishes the season.

Seattle is a slight favorite but I like SF because they're coming off a win and feeling good about themselves since Kaepernic seems to be getting back to his old self.

Tomsula is clearly not going to make it in San Franciso/Santa Clara. Three seasons past the Harbaugh Harbaugh SB, the niners are looking like a team that desperately needs to rebuild – mostly in the coaching staff.

Rough, rough, year for the 49ers. Can't totally put the blame on Tomsula because he inherited a team that had some players and those guys completely bailed/retired. I can't expect any coach to come in and expect success. This is going to take a while to get right.

Jets were solid until the very end. Not calling a timeout with the clock rolling inside 2 minutes was really poor clock management, and letting Gronk go uncovered was, obviously, not a great idea.

Hope Mangold's OK. Always scary to see them apply neck traction when they move someone.

I'm actually glad that, aside from some bonehead individual plays, the Patriots' past 2 opponents have really brought their A-games. It's good for them to face some real adversity. We'll see how they deal with all the drops this week. On to Miami, who have looked really good the past 2 weeks (against admittedly very bad teams, but there's so many bad teams this season it's hard to hold that against anyone).

That was a good close game. I think we got a good look at what makes belichick so great. Jets best weapon all season was their running with ivory and he absolutely took that away all game long.
Hopefully we can get a W In Oakland next week and stay in contention for the wildcard.... I'm usually full on football this time of the year but this year with my Mets in the WS my head is a little more on baseball right now

lol, “americas game of the week” giants win by 7 after 4 cowboy turnovers w/o romo and dez. why this division keeps getting prominence, i will never know. glad i didn’t watch that crap

eh...I think Ivory was hurt as well. He just didn't have the same agility and push he usually has, and they were working on his hamstring a couple of times during the game.

Ivory had a left leg injury that's why he wasn't going on full blast this week.

Pats would have been up 2 TD's if Edelman hadn't dropped that pass at the end zone wondering if his pinky is giving him trouble. Amendola was big this past couple weeks glad he is stepping up.
But a W is a W I will take that. Lets see what Miami does.

Giants/Cowboys will always get a big rating no matter how bad either team is. It's like Yankees/Red Sox on ESPN Sunday night. No matter what it is always a big game.

Miami might turn into a huge spoiler team this year. They really improved the past 2 weeks.
