Some people aren't going to agree but I like this new Manning. For so long, Manning was the team and the success and failures were all on him. Now with a proper supporting cast, he doesn't need to do much and I think that's ok given his recent surgeries and his age. Fantasy owners aren't pleased but at this point in his career, he's still serviceable but not in the old Peyton Manning kind of way. Age can take away your abilities, but it can't take away your knowledge and experience and that's still very valuable to the Broncos - play efficient defense, run the ball well and if Peyton needs to throw it, he can still do that to but it's no longer a priority.

I don't know where you get this info from Manning was always surrounded with talent and weapons.

Yeah on offense. Never had a proper defense to fall back on until now. Previous teams required Manning to score 3+ TDs. Now, he doesn't even have to score (like tonight) and they still win against arguably the best offense in the league.

The clock is ticking on the Cowboys as Romo isn't getting any younger. The fact is, Dallas is great with Romo and horrible without.
The issues with the Cowboys go much farther than Romo. It all starts with Jerry Jones. He has to much control in player decisions. As long as he is in charge they will never win. I also don't know if Romo has what it takes to win it all. He is great in the regular season but he seems to always choke in the big game.

Is Jerry really problem? It's not like he's not out there trying to draft or sign the best players that he can. Every year Dallas is arguably the most talented team. He's the type of owner you do want, I mean Dallas could do a lot worse and could have an Al Davis running things with drafting players that end up being busts.

Does Romo have it in him to win the Super Bowl? Who knows. But Romo is one of the top QB's in the league and because of that, you have to think that he could. The Cowboys have everything they need to win and I know they have been inconsistent, but that's definitely not due to the lack of trying on Jerry Jones' part.

Complete domination by the Broncos tonight! Broncos offense finally came alive with 500 total yards. And the defense stepped it up another notch and held Aaron Rodgers to 77 yards passing and the Packers offense to 140 total yards!

I loved seeing all of the Packers fans leaving Sports Authority Field hanging their heads!:p

oh yeah? well the packers won the fashion award for their uniform.

take that stoopid looking denver bronco kits!!

The Saints are looking like they have now jelled as a team. The game against the Giants was thrilling, and I was holding my breath those last 5 seconds. I had resolved myself to this being a "rebuilding" year, but they have done some awesome teamwork!

SF Niners and the once great Colin Kaepernick are done for but all Bay Area hopes still have the Raiders.

colin kaepernick was never great. he had a coupled of good seasons in harbaughs system. after that most defenses figured him out

There were some naysayers of new 49ers after Harbaugh. My neighbor called it and said "the" factor in those good years was Harbaugh and said without him, Kap is nothing. He's looking to be right on about that. There was a time that we here in the NFC West thought that there would be this Seattle-Niners rivalry but it looks like Seattle will have to find somebody else to compete against. I don't have a doubt about Russell Wilson being one of the best QBs for many years to come, and he may even pick up another Super Bowl appearance at least, but it won't be him against Kap in who is the best. For many years (2000-2015) all the quarterbacking focus has been on Peyton vs. Tom but for now that's where the QB attention will be for at least this year. The great QB rivalries come in 2s or 3s (Staubach vs Tarkenton vs Bradshaw in the 70s), (Montana vs Marino in the 80s), (Young vs Aikman vs Kelly in the 90s) but I can't think of anyone to pair up for the long term haul against Russell Wilson for his generation from now into the early 2020s.

I think this season is over but I will give new coach a chance and let's see how he finishes this season off and see what he does next year. If Tomsula tanks completely then he's out.

Well some good news for Ricardo Lockett. The receiver that got speared in the helmet at Dallas.

He's in surgery having ligaments removed from his neck. He is out for the year but he doesn't have paralasys.

This is a completely false narrative. The reality is, Stephen Jones is the general manager of the Cowboys. Jerry would have drafted Manziel, but Stephen nixed it. They are loaded with talent. Jerry can't keep players from getting hurt.

Also, this Tony Romo can't win in the postseason nonsense has to stop. Tony Romo can absolutely win in the postseason. He is, undoubtedly, the second most valuable quarterback to his team in football. The Cowboys couldn't win in the postseason, but that's a lot more than just Tony Romo.

The ESPN Booyah narratives surrounding the Cowboys are just nauseating.
