Shipping is pretty quick, usually 2 days at most. If it ships on Monday then you should receive it by Wednesday.

That's what I'm hoping for... If BB can have their MBPs delivered by the 16th, I hope that apple could have at least their first batch of MBPs delivered by then if not earlier. When Monday hits, we are going to actually be within the time frame that apple quoted us, so chances are high we will receive them by early next week.
 
What exactly did you (and they) say. I tried this last week and was told the standard shipping was already the fastest.
I just said that I would be happy to pay for expedited shipping. The rep said he can't do that but he'll look into the order and see what could be done. Came back ten seconds later and said he'll just upgrade me to next day shipping at no charge.

been trying to call Apples support hotline (germany) for the past 1 1/2 hours (one call every two minutes) because of credit card issues. Did not reach a single customer service rep during this time. this is so fckn ridiculous apple!

That is pretty ridiculous, but did you try online chat?
 
Guys when might it be available in stores ?
I would love to hear from anyone that has heard anything firm on this. Specifically the 15" MBP with Touchbar model. It has been 2 weeks since the announcement.

I have called my closest Apple store several times but they claimed the 15" model would arrive last week. When I went there over the weekend the Apple store quarterback that receives visitors and tries to direct them to where they need to go in the store said she had no clue when they would arrive and that Apple tells her nothing, she just works in a mall. Wow, I used to feel that Apple employees were better trained than that. The store I went to did have one 13" model with no Touchbar but several Apple store employees I talked with before finding it didn't even realize they had one or where it was in the store.
 
I ordered from HeliDirect, original estimate was mid-october, then changed to 10/31, now nobody knows. I called them a week or so ago and they seemed quite frustrated with DJI, they haven't been given any reliable info to share. Could be tomorrow or December or.....

I've not yet heard of anyone getting one from a retailer except for a handful from NewEgg. DJI direct orders seem to have been fulfilled for the first few days of orders only at this point.

I ordered mine from DJI the day it was announced and receiving it about 2 weeks ago. Sadly, I haven't had time to do much more than turn it on on the floor. Maybe this weekend I'll get it outside. I've had their drones since the early phantom, and the build quality on this is really nice.

Nope, After Sales Support for Germany can only be reached over the phone. If someone from Germany reaches out to the US After Sales Chat, they would tell the person that they can't assist them and that they would have to call the After Sales Support Phone Number for Germany.

I didn't realize the person was from Germany. Is that the case?
 
No after sales support chat is available in Germany. The only way is over the phone. I called them today about something and had to wait around 32 minutes.

did you have a queue in which you lined in? i'm getting kicked out the line with the words "sorry, we cant take your call at the moment" straight after typing in my order number.

Oh I've heard that error before. Just press the number that connects you to the Sales Team (where you can ask questions about products before purchase) and just tell them that After Sales Support canno be reached.

I called 1-800-MY-APPLE to ask about upgrading my shipping to overnight or expedited and the guy said they couldn't do that, but I'm in much better shape than most people.

I did a BTO about 30 mins after keynote ended. Temp charge on my CC as of yesterday. Delivery date 11/17-11/25. The guy said I should expect it closer to the 17th instead of the 25th.

I asked if BTO were usually more towards the back end of the expected delivery date and he said no.

As I said a few pages back, at least one store in the U.K. has them to play with, I've had first hand information that I linked to, but I'm sure the others in the U.K. Have them too

So... I really don't understand the lack of consistency in what we're hearing interacting with Apple..

Contacted them via chat, they were able to change to expedited shipping, charged me $14, and the expected delivery has moved back from the original estimate of Nov 28-Dec 5 to Nov 23 to Dec 1... Its been updated in my orders and is showing the $14 shipping fee...
