It looks like I have been charged for my BTO 13" tonight here in the UK. I bank with barclays so no easy way to tell, but the correct amount of money has disappeared from my bank. UK guys, check your banks!

If getting antsy about a device they spend several thousand dollars on is acting like a baby then give me a bib. People rely on a computer not just for fun but productivity as well and this isn't a small purchase or one for fun. It's not an Xbox it's a computer.

Kind of ironic that people complain about complaining isn't seen as acting like a baby. Guess what this is a public forum where people talk about their computers delivering until it's in their hands what else are they gonna talk about?
Thank you, sir! :)

Mine was one of the first to go into Preparing to Ship on Thursday, (I placed my order within seconds of the store coming online) and my delivery window is Nov. 15-22 (2-3 Day expedited shipping) but it still has not shipped. I'm a bit annoyed to be honest because so many apple employees told me I'd have it by the 15th or before...

Is anyone else showing with the 15th as earliest delivery date but havent had the computer ship yet?

Mine missed the plane originally too but it just now updated! Delivery still TBD, but:

Shanghai, China 11/13/2016 5:59 A.M. Departure Scan

I'm thinking it'll still arrive Monday.

15" 2.9/TB/amd 460 in transit to PA, USA.

Anyone in australia get shipping yet ? or are they doing a batch ship & domestic courier in sydney again ?

I guess what we're growing weary of; with respect my friend, is the "what did you expect" aspect.

Apple gave a date range prior to clicking "buy". If time was critical you had other options; including previous generation models in store and competitors models. Everyone in this thread chose to purchase it knowing full well the shipping window. We aren't even yet to day one of that shipping window and folks are upset that theirs isn't here yet. It's really become more a rallying cry of "It's not fair that I don't get mine before you". Whereas "Apple said it would be here before this date and it's late", which would be fair criticism. If that happens? Complain away, I'll be right there with you. Until then? At the end of the day, that window hasn't passed. That means that nobody has yet been waiting longer than Apple told them to expect them to wait.

In other news; mine has 'departed', but I still have no estimated shipping date per UPS. I suspect Monday might still be on the table.

This is more back and forth than watching the election returns this week...
[doublepost=1478991112][/doublepost]Those tracking flights. I'm not so sure the time codes on the UPS page are all that useful. That's just the time the scanner scanned them. The airplane could still be on the tarmac for all we know.

I would contact Barclaycard and Apple; but others in this thread have posted that as long as you place the order within 30 days you're fine; even if it doesn't charge your card. You probably applied for your card through the order that was placed anyway.

They put a special promotion on my card for 0% financing for me and when they did they said if you don't get 0% financing to contact them with proof of the order date and they will adjust it accordingly so I am sure you can do the same thing. They said they understand that preorders are out of our hands once placed and we just have to wait for them to process.

sorry if it's already been mentioned in this thread, but the new macbooks will be at Best Buy stores on Tuesday for those looking to just get the standard configurations (non BTO).

how is everyone migrating their info from previous generation macbooks? wondering if the wifi transfer is reliable

Its always easier to wait when you're a) expecting it sooner than someone else, and b) having the device isn't as neccsarry

I'm sure you were here for the waiting for skylake thread. People including me have been waiting for this device for a long time. So saying you could have bought something else is kind of a slap in the face to people who tried to be a loyal Apple customer.

I bet if people complained that they bought a computer a week or two before the announcement you'd tell them they could have always waited. Yes Apple gave us a date/range of dates but I wasn't expecting it to take that long. I ordered on the 1st day at most an hr after and have the delivery date as the 25th. Why was mine so late? Because I chose in store pickup. I'm prepared to wait that long, but I won't be happy about it and I certainly won't complain any less if people get theirs much earlier than mine.

Imo this has been a bit messy even if they deliver it to everyone by the 17th. People like me have been charged then had the charge disappear. Some have already started shipping, other still preparing while some haven't seen any movement on their order at all.

For the most part people who ordered on the same day should see the movement within the same day or so time frame. I know people from NYC who have their items shipped and their cards charged before the weekend had even started and I'm still waiting here like

The back and forth is bc there's so much conflicting info and the condecending pat on the back saying it's coming eventually doesn't help. You know yours is coming soon the rest of us are still crossing out fingers

I'm sitting here at a retirement party for my brother in law, and there's a big crowd of people. But I'm pretty much ignoring them and banging my UPS app, hoping for a new scan.
