2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

Ok guys very suspicious. I have been on the Apple page every day since launch debating over the options (going back and fourth between the 460, finally decided against it to focus on eGPU).

The stock 15" MacBook Pro AFAIK was never available for pickup in store, the option didn't even show up until you try to modify the unit, once you switch to BTO the options show up.

Now, earlier today (because I just checked it yesterday), the option to pickup in store appears for stock 15 MBP but it says unavailable of course. Now it's gone again. I feel like there will be some storefront movement next week, much like Best Buy.

Apple changed delivery date from "Nov 16" to "Est Nov 16"

Like @ms179 said it is probably Apple telling UPS to hold them back until Wednesday.

Just charged as well as went into Preparing for Shipment. Stock 15" $2,249 with education discount. YAY!

Woohoo! Just got charged 5 min ago! My order is now P4S! 15" Stock, Nov 17-25, USA, ordered 20 min after keynote :)

Nice I went for the base but upgraded to the 512 GB. If Apple has the stock units in store i'm gonna cancel mine and get the base or mid.

So, it looks like I'll be getting it on the 15th or 16th instead of Monday.

Long time lurking and just signed up to give updates on my end.

Ordered 5 mins after the keynote (or whenever the store was up) from Texas.. 15" space grey maxed out except 1TB drive. Got 17/24 2-3 weeks for delivery.

Card got charged Monday morning, changed to PFS on Thursday, shipped early Saturday (3AM Central time) and UPS tracking shows it cleared the customs and left.

Also I called UPS to change the pickup location (online didn't work) since my UPS driver shows up after 9PM, they said the package has to arrive to US first to change it so he said to try it tomorrow. I asked if it's going to be in the US tomorrow for sure and he said yes because it just cleared China and it's on its way. I don't see any UPS flights though UPS said it's leaving China shortly. He also confirmed that it will be in Houston on Monday.

Ordered another 15" maxed out with 2tb less than an hour after the keynote. Same delivery window. Card got charged Tuesday, changed to PFS on Thursday and still not shipped. I'm guessing 2TB maxed out 15"s are delayed because of the hard drive or because I ordered maybe like 30-45 mins after the keynote. Not sure why they aren't moving at the same time.

Hopefully I get at least one of them on Monday.

Just got Preparing for shipment! 15" stock, ordered ~20 min after keynote and from Victoria, Canada. Delivery date still says 22-28th. Could this move forward a bit?

This is just outrageous. I ordered 2 BTO 13" MBP and they have been PFS for days now, despite ordering immediately after the keynote and a delivery timeframe of 11/15-11/22. Also, I'm additionally upset with Apple because I wasn't able to order a Nintendo Classic Edition yesterday. Makes me so mad. They better get their boat in order or I'm cancelling and going to HP and PS4!!

My package missed the plane... Anybody knows when the next flight will be? On Sunday afternoon? Or on Monday? Or half an hour after the first plane?
 
I ordered mine just 48hrs later and I've been hit straight away with a 4-5 week delay. I'm apparently not due to get my 13" until the beginning of December, but the order page still has it as 4-5 weeks delivery tonight.

I don't think the order page reacts to the current date, it hangs out to where you are in the queue in relation to your order date, so it won't decrement by a week or two when the time lapses. If I understand what you're saying.
 
Ordered my full-blown 15" Space Gray about 10 minutes after the store opened on military discount. Just changed to PFS today. Happy if I get it by Friday...and even happier if sooner.
Also have a decked-out 4.0 iMac 27 5K, arriving Wednesday. Needed another one and had been hoping for an update at the last keynote....but can't wait until Spring, which is what it's looking like.

Mine was just charged and then went to preparing for shipment about 5 minutes later.
