Like a few others on here, my 13" TB/16/512 is still Preparing For Shipment on Apple's site, but using my phone number in the UPS site's Track By Reference indicates it shipped this morning. Estimated delivery on Tuesday. I'm in Arkansas.

Apple just updated the status of this order to shipped with an estimated delivery on Wednesday (11/16). I'll post more details when I can.

Where can you see when the plane is going to leave? Im only able to see past departures from FlightAware
Actually so far FlightAware doesn't list the next scheduled flight for UPS81 but if you look at the history it does always fly on Monday at 9:33 (scheduled, the time it actually flies varies a lot). So I am assuming there will be one on Monday which arrives in Kentucky at 1:00AM Tuesday morning. However, I hope there is a faster route before that.

I have been having troubles on the UPS website and the UPS app placing a hold on my rMBP to be picked up at my Customer Center, so I called UPS about it. Because the package is coming from China, they transferred me to the international agent and she put in to have my computer held at the Customer Center. When I looked in the app and the website, I still didn't see the hold. But, on the website, I was just successful in manually doing the hold at the Customer Center.

Thanks for the tracking by phone number reference tip for the UPS site! While my BTO 15" has not yet been shipped (not expected in store until the week after next) I can see that the two 87W chargers I ordered have been dispatch from Ontario, CA to the town where my nearest Apple Store is located. That's something!

Hello people.

I am sorry to bring a newbie question to you all but I am looking for smart answers and came to this place.
As I am looking for an external HD to take advantage of my new macbook pro usb-c ports. I just learn that some Hard drives using the usb-c conector are still usb 3.0 speeds?...duh...sorry

so, what are the best choices for usb-c (3.1 second gen) external hard drives around?
does it have to be sdd to be 3.1 send gen? (10 Bbps spped)

thanks for any ideas...

peace.

Anyone wanna run by how you find a ref number and track it on UPS again?
Go to the UPS website and open a UPS My Choice account. Use the free My Choice, not the premium. Then get the UPS app or go on the website and log in and you should see your tracking numbers if they are created.

Did you take a look at UPs84 and UPS80? Those two are in China right now. They might contain the next shipment.

Your best bet is to try searching the MBP forum, or perhaps creating a new thread. Accessory discussion isn't quite the purpose of this thread.
