2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

13" BTO shipped. Yippie!! Via UPS, Apple and ups says deliver on the 16th to me in California. In Shanghai, waiting for export scan. Original delivery was Nov 17-25.
 
I assume all the shipment notifications trickling out at the moment are for US orders that have been preparing for shipment for a while, and that in actuality they were shipped a while ago but the Apple system is just catching up.

UPS can do some correlation to your my choice account, like phone number, email address and/or shipping address. The fine print may indicate the exact correlation. I haven't investigated that enough but it does work.

If you don't have a tracking number yet and there's not one linked, try using the track by reference number feature from the tracking page. I entered my shipping phone number to locate a shipment going to the Apple Store.

Correct. Text alert came at 7:46am (bout a 1/2 hr ago), but UPS has been playing with my MBP for about 17 hrs

Located in Richmond, VA. Delivery date by Apple is the 17-25th. Mine has shipped via FedEx (odd) but I haven't received an updated delivery date though them yet.

Got my shipping notification about an hour ago. 13" stock. UPS Tracking number isn't working yet so I'm unsure where it is shipping from. Delivery ETA is Wednesday morning.

Mine changed to PSF early yesterday morning, around 3 AM CST
 
Question... (and this applies to many of us)

For those orders shipped today (Sunday) out of Shanghai with a pending delivery date of Wed. the 16th.

What are the chances that it will be delivered Tuesday the 15th?

Just did the same and it worked using my phone number.. Shipped today from China :) Delivers the 16th to Apple store in Toronto, Canada. (Built to Order 15")

Still Prepared for shipping on apple site.

Okay, this is a little weird... I got a shipping notification this morning. Originally scheduled to arrive Wednesday, but updated to Tuesday. Great! But my credit card hasn't been charged... there was a pre-authorization hold about a week ago, but it dropped off a few days ago. There is no charge, no hold, no reduction in the credit limit -- nothing. The credit-card website seems to update in realtime (Capital One). Could they have really shipped without charging it yet? I have an active UPS tracking number.

Did your order ship today?

It's encouraging that you went from a Wed. to Tues. delivery. I don't see that kind of change on my end but hopefully that will be the case for most of us.

I have the same thing, order shipped today for Thursday / Friday delivery but the pending charge fell off my card a couple days ago and there hasn't been a new charge placed. Kind of weird imo, Apple shipping a computer they don't have payment for.

EDIT: Mine is CapitalOne as well, interesting.
 
So it says it shipped on the Apple Store app, but I haven't gotten an email or been charged :eek:

How have you guys been tracking your order?

Charged on Monday, stayed in the pending section until Friday then it fell off the card since the charge wasn't posted by Apple. Went into PFS after the charge fell off and then I get a shipping notification this morning, UPS arrival Thursday or Friday, but I'm still not charged, there's nothing even pending on the card. Anybody else have an order ship without being re-charged? As of now Apple is about to put my computer on a plane without having any money for it...seems odd to me.

Same thing happened to me and my buddy. Shocked Apple would ship without settling the transaction.
