Got my tracking number in the morning (ordered about 3 hours after the keynote). Says it was originally scheduled for Friday and now coming on Thursday (delivery to North NJ). I'd love it if it could show up even sooner now that I see all these other posts of getting them a day or two before then.

anyone can tell me if I can purchase applecare after I made my MBP order? it has to be before the order arrives? or do I have a period of time to buy it? thx
You can purchase AppleCare anytime during the first year of original warranty from Apple.
I can't make any changes, either. One time I had to wait until the package was in the States before I could make changes. In any event, I'm going to call UPS tomorrow (my 13" MBP is set to deliver on Tuesday).

Have you tried entering your phone number in UPS' Track by Reference? I was able to track a package to an Apple Store that way.
I've been able to change my delivery address last week but now i'm not able to do it anymore. Weird... ..or maybe its a good sign? No idea.
Edit: I just clicked on the cancel button and it said that it's not possible to cancel my order online. Maybe it's moving to PFS early next week?

I asked Apple about this exact subject and they advised me that AppleCare can be purchased only within 60 days of the date you receive your MBP.
This is for the U.S. which I was addressing.
"You can buy the AppleCare Protection Plan with your new Mac, Apple Display, or Apple TV, or within one year of your product purchase. Learn more about where to buy the AppleCare Protection Plan."

Thank you for sharing! Twice the performance. This paired with 4 times as much RAM and an SSD. Definitely a difference. I imagine there is a lot more efficiencies that cannot be seen with specifications. I'm hardly 'tech savvy' though this will be quite an improvement for those of us with older machines (pre-2010).
When do you guys think the 3-4 week batch will start to ship out? 
If UPS typically has a flight departing Shanghai at 6:30am as I've seen others report, that's 4:30pm CST, or about two hours from now. Those of us scheduled for Tuesday delivery should see some more movement around that time, if not a little sooner so the packages get through Chinese customs.
