Stuck in shanghai for more than 12 hours now. What happen

There was no flight today....see my post above for more info on the next flight UPS81....you will see it depart early tomorrow morning.

The white polycarbonate MacBook is certainly iconic. I would even venture to say that it as iconic as the Classic. I can't remember what lead me to choose a Mac over Windows. I will say that Apple's Best Buy sales person was extremely convincing. If I could thank that person I would. Many friends who purchased Dells, HPs, etc. have purchased 2-3 machines since then. I still think I came out ahead in terms of costs.

I remember what led me to choose a Mac over Windows. I'd bought a Dell PC (back in the days of Windows ME) that had nothing but problems. At the time, Macs were slower, but worked a lot better.

Yes, I made the request. Are you using Mychoice?
From the My Choice window in the dashboard, click on 'Go To Delivery Planner', then from that window, click on TABLE View.
You'll see a column on the far right called 'Change' and links below that say 'request'.

I tried redelivery on the website and got an error. When I tried on my iOS app, I got an interesting message: "Fraud assessment check failed." I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Maybe I will pick one up at the apple store tomorrow. They should have a couple in stock based on past historical experience.

Wow only took me an hour to get a mac stock checker script running in Ubuntu, with push notifications. So much work already done for the iFone folks . I'll make sure to post here as soon as the 15" 2016 skus show up in my neck of the woods.

Awesome, hopefully they will be scanning all of ours that have been sitting there for up to a day. Mine hasn't had the export scan yet but my arrival scan was at 19:30 on the 13th so well after yours. Man you've been there a long time....

What are you guys going to do once it's on the truck? Drive to the depot, park outside, wait for the truck to leave the depot and follow it until it gets to your house for delivery? lol

Better yet, hold it at the depot for pickup and be there at 7am with open arms. Honestly, many of us are doing just that.

It wouldn't be an Apple launch without the combined logistics tracking efforts that cured the boredom in between pre-order and ship!

I would actually find the truck and put a GPS tracking device on it so I can see where about this delivery truck is and chase him if he missed my delivery.

I have no idea how to check if they charged. My card still shows as pending, but for me most transactions stay pending for a few days.

One SG order went into preparing for shipping yesterday's night.

I suspect they are aiming for a specific date where all initial orders world wide will arrive.

Since HK is probably th quickest to ship, it will go out last.

I have a feeling the arrival day will be Wednesday.

Unfortunately I am leaving on a trip tomorrow afternoon and might not see my MBP for one more months

How do you find this out? In LA, I have the option to pick "UPS CC / Customer Center" downtown and it says package available starting Monday 11/14, but doesn't give a time - just the business hours of the location. There's no way to guarantee that's where it gets loaded and where it will be first thing in the AM, or if I'm requesting it to this location where it'll have to be moved to. I'd pick it up in a heartbeat if I knew I could get it before work.

Lol I'm surprised because I ordered a maxed out with touchbar 15" laptop a few days after the event and it showed delivery of 7-15 Dec but it's shipping day after tomorrow i.e 15th Nov and I didn't even pay for any special shipping
