2016 Macbook Pro, Order/Shipping Thread

I have no idea how to check if they charged. My card still shows as pending, but for me most transactions stay pending for a few days.

One SG order went into preparing for shipping yesterday's night.

I suspect they are aiming for a specific date where all initial orders world wide will arrive.

Since HK is probably th quickest to ship, it will go out last.

I have a feeling the arrival day will be Wednesday.

Unfortunately I am leaving on a trip tomorrow afternoon and might not see my MBP for one more months :(

If it goes PFS this afternoon. Its possible it will be on the 22:35 PVGHKG DHL flight tonight.

However this always depends on the wonderful Shanghai customs....

I'm one of those from Singapore whose order has changed to Preparing for Shipment last night. There have been no changes since.
 
Welp, I just set it for customer center/hub pickup over the phone as they assured me via phone it'd be there first thing in the morning. Looks like I'm heading to UPS at 7:00 AM to try and claim my MBP. Fingers crossed.

Your SG order will probably go Shanghai - HK (DHL HUB) - SIN. No DHL flight out of Shanghai yesterday.

Ships tonight from Shanghai via HKG to Singapore will arrive SIN around 7am tomorrow.
 
Anyone else in Tokyo? It's still saying "Processing Items" and it's killing me... It's not even BTO.

I think a lot of the Asian destinations will ship tonight and tomorrow.

Theres a DHL 747-400 leaving Shanghai to Hong Kong tonight then the HKG HUB distributes asia wide including NRT.

Why not put the eggs into two baskets... Since they have lots of MBP to deliver, you can use FEDEX and UPS to reduce the stress.
 
My 15" BTO was scheduled to be in store Nov 25 but for the heck of it I just checked the status and it now shows an estimated store pickup date of Nov 17, 8 days early. UPS track by reference does not show the MBP has having been shipped yet but perhaps it will over the next day or two. Good news, though!

I did. Shipped from China and delivery expected by EOD Tuesday (Chicago). I ordered minutes after the keynote though. My card was charge at the same time it changed to PFS. Then it was in PFS for 5 days before it changed to shipped. My advice is to avoid checking your order status until you get the "Shipped" one because there clearly isn't a consistent timeline established for the process.

In your experience, if it is on that plane. Is there any way for me to pick it up in the morning?

I can't. That's why I am so frustrated. My window was 14-21 and it looks like some people here with 17-23 will get it earlier than me...

I stayed up until 3am to order as one of the first within 5 min of the store being up.

Even if I don't get it in time, at least I know I've done everything I could.
