Hi guys, I need help, my package is supposed to deliver today but why there is no "out for delivery" scan?

Our 1st one is on that flight too. Waiting for a departure scan as well. Our 2ns on is on ups81 and it got a departure scan a little while ago. Weird how two computers can be on two different flights. They are clones of each other (same specs just made the quantity of 2 when placing the order) and they are on different flights. Hope UPS doesn't screw anything up.

Those two planes are almost beside each other in the air right now. They are scheduled to arrive in Kentucky within 11mins of each other. I'm sure they will meet up on the flight out of Kentucky...LOL UPS105 is the one most south of UPS81 labeled. All the planes on that shot are UPS planes...

Just got off the phone with the Dutch Apple Store... The lady patiently and forcedly explained to me that there is no problem and avoided answering whether any of the Dutch orders have shipped yet. To my question whether it would be delivered on time, she said "we technically still have 11 days," which is the end date of my shipment window. Looks like they're going to be pushing it.

Guess we won't be getting our Macbooks this week then :( Apple doesn't care about their European customers -,-

Thanks for the info. Mine has been at the local FedEx facility for almost 24 hours but has not scanned through the International Shipment Release. Assuming it will not make FedEx flight 90. At this point just hoping it makes flight 72 in about 6 hours from now.
I'm in the same boat. Er, rather, hoping to be on the same plane! The lack of intl release or export scan is making me nervous...

So we've been hearing. Every couple pages or so.

Im not trying to be a jerk. But either cancel it because it isn't getting here before it said it was gonna get here and the less than stellar reviews, or don't. This product is sold out. If you're expecting Apple to take pity on you because of these posts I don't think it's going to happen.

My advice would be to go ahead and cancel now and if you feel like you still want it, but it from a store later so you don't have to deal with the clearly traumatic experience of it delivering as promised but not sooner than promised.

I see you point but I don't get your reasoning. We know about the delivery window, but it's more about equality. If blacks and whites are promised driving the train at the same time but whites can drive the train earlier regardless, don't you think blacks would complain?

This may be a slightly random example, but you could probably find other fitting examples.

For those in Europe : They told me this morning that they were currently building the ones for us. They also told me, if you are "pre-charged", it means they started/are going to start building yours.
Hmm i'm not too sure about that. Maybe the After Sales Rep was just guessing because he/she doesn't know the real status.

I don't know if it's true, I'm just reporting what He said. But I had a problem with my debit card and He told me that They had had a lot of calls today because everyone was pre-charged this week-end.

Are you actually comparing the delivery time of a laptop to racism?

This has nothing to do with equality at all. The US is one market. Europe is many different, smaller markets. It's not going to be exactly the same experience.

For all the people here getting theirs at the beginning of the delivery slot, there are plenty who won't get them until the end either. Macrumors' forum users are in no way representative of everyone who ordered.

To blow your mind: there are probably people who ordered in Europe who will get theirs this week, but they don't care about coming here to update a spreadsheet.

I think you could easily argue that it is somewhat insensitive to compare the fulfilment of our MacBooks with horrendous historic injustice, and I think it likely @el-John-o is currently prepping a response thusly. However a parallel argument along these lines still stands, if only from an image or customer service standpoint rather than a justice one.

This is new and unexpected from Apple.

I see. Well, I've checked with the Credit Card company on Saturday and they said that there's no charge from Apple yet. :(
