FDX 90 leaves today and flies PVG -> MEM as well. FDX 72 does the same later this evening. Lots of possibilities, and that's just assuming it's going to Memphis next.

True. Lots of possibilities there. I would think it would end up in Memphis for me since it's fairly close to my location, but you're right, it could always go through Anchorage. Who knows...

Mine is out for delivery right now but I'm stuck here at work! What spec did you get?

Argh!

Maxed out with 1TB. This thing is gorgeous! And that trackpad is insane. Half the laptop is the trackpad lol.

reddit guy just posted this:
Just checked UPS My Choice, and mine is coming from Rialto as well. It won't get to me in the PNW until Thursday the 17th though. Seeing all the posts of people getting theirs is making this wait a whole lot worse.:(

Oddly though, the weight is listed as 0.10 pounds. It can't be anything but the MBP though, since I haven't ordered anything else from Apple (shipper is listed as AI). Is that just the default weight if the shipper does not/has not submitted one to UPS?

Don't worry about the weight thing , happened to me few times, they usually don't write the correct weight on the website

I am trying to understand the dimming of the TB, does it actually dim after 60 seconds even when you are actively typing or using the trackpad? Or does it just dim when you are not using it at all?

Just saw the reader-shot photos of the 15" and wow. It's absolutely gorgeous and looks so slick in comparison to the mid-2010 behemoth I'm carrying around. So excited for it to ship. NOW.

Same here. Thinking we'll be on FDX72 in 4-5 hours.
Yeah... I don't think I'm on FX 90. FedEx just reported at local facility again in Shanghai. It may be on flight 72.

These reviews are pretty underwhelming so far, I have to say. Quite worried about the battery life on the Touch Bar 13". Well, on the bright side, maybe this will mean a lot of people will cancel their orders and I'll get mine faster!

did you read ars technica review? they are very scientific and use 200 nits on every battery test. since the new MacBook has the brightest display on the market for a laptop at 500 nits(if I'm wrong correct me), having a test at half or 65 percent brightness (theverge) is much brighter than competing laptops resulting in less battery life.

If battery life really is what the reviews are saying then mine is going to have to go straight back (if it ever arrives in the first place to the UK). Problem is that I desperately need a laptop and I can't face using Windows!

I did, but I'm more concerned about the real world tests done by The Verge and also Walt Mossberg's review, where they seemed to get less than stellar battery life. The standardized tests may not be as accurate due to the touch bar not running at all when the keyboard and touchpad aren't being used.

If it wasn't for my old MacBook being broken I'd give up on this.

Ordered within 30 mins of the keynote finishing and nothing. No card charge, no pfs, nothing.
