To all of you worried about if it means anything when your credit card is charged: I ordered Oct 28 and my card was charged within 12 hours!
I still have a time slot of 25 nov - 1 dec .. no chance that the day of credit card charge has anything to do with the place in the waiting line

Probably moving to different staging areas at the facility and airport. Hopefully one of those is for loading onto the plane!

You can customize the touchbar to include that, but it would only show if you are on finder.

At the moment it appears not... Let's hope they are already moving to Europe, too! When I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus the tracking started pretty late even thought it was a preorder...

Export scan clears it to leave the county, your arrival scan means its now at the airport facility.

hopefully they update it so you can lock in certain settings. Like you, that is something I would like to appear all of the time regardless of the app I am in. Same thing with folders I use frequently. I would rather just lock those in on the touchbar so I could access them whenever wherever.

I think we're going to have to assume we'll get ours in Europe at the end of the delivery windows at the earliest, but that's what the window is for I guess, to cover themselves, its just not nice when people now have them in their hands and Europe seems to have been forgotten. I ordered the moment the store went live, so it's not great.

As I said before, I hope the battery life issues aren't as bad as the reviews say. Can anyone post back about that in 24 hours!

Total n00b question, but how are you guys able to track your shipment progress all the way from China (i.e. how do I know which flight it was on)? I can see that a UPS shipping label has been created in Rialto, CA, but how do I know where my MBP came from before then? Thanks!

Here's the flight for late UPS departure scans out of Shanghai (PVG) to the US. It's flight 5X81: PVG->ANC->SDF. They'll hit the overnight sort at Louisville (SDF), make another flight to the final delivery city, then be out for delivery tomorrow. Pretty amazing how all this can be viewed online.

Mine shows still in Shanghai - 11/15 12:13 am - At local FedEx facility. FX90 took off at 11:54 pm at 11/14. I am hoping it is delayed.

Mine shows the exact same thing. At local FedEx facility at 12:13 a.m. Lets hope we are on that plane!

I believe there's an option to keep a certain UI pinned on the touchbar. So that it's not switching based on context all the time.

You have to be a total nerd. Or work in the logistics industry and kind of know how the integrators networks work. Or both.
