My MBP

Again mattburley7 we are in the same situation. Mine arrived this morning at the local facility, it still shows tomorrow, but I am wondering if they will just bring it out today.

Same here but in TX, unfortunately i think FedEx usually holds it until delivery day. I've had a couple packages just sit at the facility because it is not scheduled till the next day.

i wonder if i could go to the facility and get it if they decide not to ship it out till the next day?

Yes, and they know it before ordering. Different markets need different keyboards. And Apple has only US Keyboards at the Moment. Australia has US Keyboard layout, or not?

Don't think your theory holds water. I live in Houston, TX, and will be receiving my 15" BTO with a Danish keyboard today!

I think you don't seem to get the concept of first come first served. Also, since when does EU = Only Britain?

I get it very much. But no one ever promised "first come, first served," did they? I did not say that EU = only Britain. The posters I quoted were from the UK, according to their self-identified locations.

But no one specifically said it WASN'T first come first served. Therefore I don't think it's an unreasonable expectation to think that once you place an order you go into a queue and your order get's fulfilled at your place in the queue. As has been said many times, if they weren't going to do that (like they have before) then make it clear that this continent will get X dates and that content will get Y dates. Otherwise the natural assumption IS first come first served, especially when combined with the fact that everyone who ordered immediately got the same or very similar date windows.

Preparing for dispatch. NOPE. Silly of me to expect something other than "Processing" to appear on my screen.

eh you're probably right that it will probably just sit there till tomorrow  seems already kinda late to go out for delivery maybe?

I think it is more so you go into the queue that corresponds to the specs you choose. Depending on how many assembly lines they have, they may need to swap out to build the next set.

so this is what i found out on fedex....

What are your delivery hours?

Delivery days and times vary by service type:
  • FedEx Express: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (and Saturday with Saturday Delivery special handling option)
  • FedEx Ground: Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • FedEx Home Delivery®: Tuesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Please note, specific delivery times may vary by location, especially for rural areas.

so if it does go out early today it would be no earlier then 8 am.

Ok.

That might be true too. but that still doesn't explain why no one in Europe has passed Processing, when its an almost certainty that people have ordered the same spec combinations in Europe as in the US etc

Mine is on it's way from the airport to my local distribution center. Now I just have to wait until after work to pick it up there.

my fedex status just updated... its not out for delivery but still a possibility?

You just don't get it . . .

But please, continue to hammer Apple; maybe even cancel your orders! I'm sure you can get a quality machine from the leading British computer manufacturer.

In the U.K. we are happy just to know that what we are buying was designed by a Brit
