I've tried this, but they normally refuse unless it was coordinated through Apple.
I ordered his exact model, probably even before than him, given the time of his tweet the 27! I am still in processing, he has already done a video on it!
Lucky you! I am scheduled for 11/25 - 12/6 and still have not moved from Processing....
Got an email from UPS about an hour ago (I was in traffic on the way to work, so didn't see it until I got here), and it looks like my pick up schedule is complete. Now I just need to go get it!
Woke up this AM, checked the UPS tracking and realized all last night I was betting on the wrong bird. Thought I was on UPS81 but my arrival scan was Ontario, CA(California). Now in Seattle, WA as of 4:30AM PST. That means some Canadians should get theres today...like if you are in Lower Mainland. Mine is still scheduled for Friday and UPS always goes by truck to me. Likely I'll fly to Edmonton and then on truck. Fedex would have flown it to me....not sure why Apple picked UPS. Oh well Nov 18th is still a lot better than Apples' estimate of Nov 24-30 they gave me from the start!!

Exported but not Departed from Shanghai for... 24 hours. Long time for a package to be still.
Excruciatingly long time for my precious MacBook Pro to be still.
Even worse, today's UPS 81 left Shanghai for Anchorage 25 minutes ago. No departure scan on my MacBook Pro means it didn't make today's plane out either.
So it likely sits another day. Wa.
My scan yesterday didn't show till 45mins into the flight....you will likely be on that flight still....there is still hope
Actually mine should be in Montreal today, It left california on sunday so I expect it to be available for pickup later today
what is your scheduled delivery date? mine is the 17th but it just arrived in Memphis this morning nonstop from Shanghai, so hoping it gets its ass over Newark at some point today and is in my hands tomorrow...
Have other people that ordered then started Shipping. Most of us with movement ordered mere minutes after the keynote....not hours...
I swear...the scan time showed up as 9PM (China time) but I kept refreshing UPS tracking and it was 45mins into it before it updated. Some updated earlier and some even later than that.
I'm hoping FedEx changes my delivery to tomorrow instead of Thursday. It's currently in Memphis and I'm in Virginia.
Yep, and all us Europeans, it's ridiculous for sure. Even if we accept we were processed after the others, to still have not had any change in status is crazy
You and me both! Mine traveled on the same flight, and is also Utah bound! Is your delivery date the 17th? I'm crossing my fingers that they move it up to tomorrow.
Mine is already in Seattle WA. But someone yesterday asked about Korea so I looked it up. Here you can track it....

That is the leg to Anchorage...yesterday I assumed they all continued on on the same flight to Louisville but found out this morning mine got off UPS81 and onto the flight to Ontario CA instead. UPS99 continues on but if you are on the west coast you may switch planes in Anchorage as I did.
