I know, I was hoping it was on the ONT flight yesterday but was sad when it showed up Louisville, then to my surprise this morning in ONT so maybe it did go straight to ontario and there was just something wrong with the scan
This flight was to ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA not CANADA lol

Again, your argument is based more on "it's favoritism" emotion than actual reason. So to fill a pallet/container to said single port of call *WILL* take longer with less order flow.

It's a fact for-profit businesses typically go where it helps their bottom & top line the most. This is typically where the majority of revenue and customers are.

If pushing a few Country X orders to the end of the committed shipping window allows them to optimize there is an *economic* reason now not to do First In First Out-style fulfillment. This isn't favoritism, plenty of reasons why not doing FIFO-style fulfillment.

I'm sorry, but the 'buy more computers' argument doesn't hold. Even if the total number of computers coming into Australia equalled only one US state, it is still, as you yourself stated, easier to ship them in larger lots. This would mean that it is easier, cheaper, quicker, to ship all the Australian (or EU) orders at the same time. Since they all go through a single port of call anyway, any discrepancies could be accounted for by local transport. But, this is not the case. There are people in the US who had ship dates in December who are receiving their orders today or tomorrow. It is absolutely favourtism.

What reason did they give you?

Called once this morning and they told me it wouldn't let them change it to store pick up so it must still be on the truck, then called a second time early afternoon and they said the earliest pick up time they could schedule was tomorrow.

I know I'm from Ontario, California, thats why I was so surprised my package was Louisville last night.

But now that it magically went out from Delivery in Ontario I am thinking the scan was wrong

That could be because the shipping container it came in with other items may not be unpacked and sorted until later today/tonight and then put on a truck or held for you tomorrow.

UK based, long-long time reader/lurker. Tormented by/enjoyed Waiting for Skylake MBP and this thread, etc, etc...

I finally signed up to share my story. Placed my order approx. 2 hours after event - been reading this thread since with fingers crossed for early delivery - been stuck on processing for what feels like forever. Trying to save some cash (! lol) I ordered Space Grey 13" 16gb 256gb storage. Have been debating since purchase if I should have gone for 512gb version.

After initial reviews for Non TB version with slight possibility of future drive upgrades I thought maybe I could upgrade later. Anyway after reading todays news that it the SSD is soldered in I decided that this is going to need to last a while, so spoke to Apple about possibility of upgrading.

To cut a long story short they said it wouldn't affect my delivery date, so the chat rep cancelled the previous one and placed an order for the new one, I just just received confirmation now of 21 - 30 Dec :( (originally 17 - 24 Nov). Real bummer.

Well, that chat rep assured me over and over that this date will change rapidly, and I should still receive it the same time frame as previous order. Even after I mentioned the new date, they said I will receive it sooner. Lack of movement in Europe, previous posts on here plus my never ending processing status make me think that my order hasn't even been looked at yet in the factory, but maybe the next few days?

After all the negative reviews/comments I still am really looking forward to this machine. I am finally upgrading from my mid-2010 MacBook pro, which I upgraded to 8gb ram and 512ssd. It has done me well and still works day in day out, chugging away. Even though I might have to wait longer, sod it, this new machine is going to be worlds apart from what i'm currently using! positive vibes :)

Similar situation. I initially ordered 13" with 16GB of ram and 256GB of SSD right after the event with 17-23rd Nov shipping window but I cancelled and reordered on 28th to upgrade it to 512GB SSD. Now my expected delivery is 7th-13th of Dec.

Awesome news. Mine is still stuck on processing, but its good to know they are working through them!

Looks like Best Buy is coming through with delivery tomorrow! Ordered on 11/11/2016 with with guarantee delivery on 16th and free One Day shipping! Went to preparing for shipment around 1:30EST today! Awesome!

For those of you who received your MacBook Pros, the track pad can actually move while giving me the tactile feedback. I supposed someone wrote about the track pad being a non-movable piece of glass and the vibration engine is giving the user response. I can actually see the trackpad move downwards as I press it. Is this normal?

I haven't received mine yet but this is consistent with the trackpad on my rMB

Might be a false hope, but I'm hoping our packages were on the flight to Alaska but they just missed a scan and when they get to Alaska we'll see an arrival scan, but it's a false hope. lol.

Going on 61 hours in Shanghai as of now.
I am the same status with more than 24 hours in Shanghai. If it missed the export scan, then our aircraft just landed 12 minutes ago and should see an update shortly as they usually scan within 30 minutes.

Same here, however, my model is a silver 15. Anyone else care to chime in?
I have a mark under the speaker on the right side. Silver. I can only see it when I'm sitting at the computer. From above and certain directions, I don't see anything!

If your delivery says 16th you should get it as they started taking more preorders again today for delivery on 17th. I think they saw they got even more than what people pre-ordered.

Okay, please read. I had problems with the TB3 to TB2 migration from my mid-2012 MBP. For some reason, it switched out of Thunderbolt migration to Peer-to-Peer migration after some period of time, which took a lot longer. I called Apple Support. It never did transfer back into Thunderbolt migration. I did have a lot of data to migrate.

So that's why they searched that area last. Got it.

But wait... Even if it was the first place they looked, it would still be the last place they looked.

Mine has been stuck on "package available for clearance" (apparently FedEx speak for waiting to clear customs) since about 8:45 CST this morning. Yours? Hurry up and clear customs! There's two flights from there to SLC this afternoon, but they're fast approaching!
Looks like my package didn't make it on the flight 10 minutes ago :/ Did your tracker update with anything?

Normal, the sensors need to register the pressure!
