More entertaining than this, for europeans, depressing thread :D

Hi Everyone - I've got a 15" 1TB 2.9GHZ that I ordered on Oct 30th with a delivery date window of Dec. 8 to Dec. 14, coming to Brampton, Ontario, Canada (near Toronto). Any idea when it'll ship?
Thanks in advance!

Is it possible to see all the photos posted in this thread? I would like to tease myself with the new Pros but don't want to spoil the unboxing experience by watching videos on Youtube.

Also stuck in Shanghai hell. Those who had export scans a few hours before us are already stateside :( What's your scheduled delivery day?
I'm surprised yours didn't ship, I have an arrival scan for 4:15 on the 13th as well, with an export scan after yours yet mine left on the plane for Japan and then onto Alaska, not sure why that would have happened.

I have ordered the base 15" version but am now doubting that i have done the right thing.

I will need to install Windows on the Machine Via Bootcamp and will 256GB be enough for me to do this?

I currently have a late 2013 MBP with 256GB and I'm currently using around 50GB of 248 available.

I use iCloud Drive for most of my current Document storage and have recently deleted/moved a lot of old documents to external storage.

I am just wondering how much space Boot camp will require - each piece of software requires 8GB. The software is AutoCAD and Revit so I am unsure how much the files created from it will take up.

Anyone who had store pickup instead of shipping been able to get their MBP from an Apple Store yet? Mine's currently in "Shipping to Store" with a Nov 17 date, hoping it could be earlier.

Sorry if this has been answered, this thread is moving fast.

I've got to admit I'm a bit salty some people who ordered a 15 in after me got theirs already. I know the 13 in is more popular but damn.

Ok, while the app store was open, it randomly asked me if I wanted to use Touch ID for purchases, so it "should" be good now.

Can you see that scratch everyone has on the new MacBooks ..?
What scratch? Only thing i've noticed is the vents on the bottom seem to be a bit "sharp".

My order has has not had any new scans in quite some time. Is this something I should be concerned about?

Okay, please read. I had problems with the TB3 to TB2 migration from my mid-2012 MBP. For some reason, it switched out of Thunderbolt migration to Peer-to-Peer migration after some period of time, which took a lot longer. I called Apple Support. It never did transfer back into Thunderbolt migration. I did have a lot of data to migrate.

Whew! They found it. They said it was in the "Apple cage" where they keep Apple packages under lock and key.
So that's why they searched that area last. Got it.

Finally!

Kinda ironic that I can plug my Google Pixel directly into the MBP when it comes since it's USB-C but you need an adapter to plug in an iPhone. :p
A new cable isn't an adapter.
