FWIW, I just called FedEx regarding the customs hold. The rep I spoke with said it there was no action needed by me or Apple, and that it was actually released from customs this morning. My scheduled delivery date has always been Thursday, 11/17, and she stated it still will be delivered then. Hopefully, she is correct. (fingers crossed)
did the deliver date changed?
mine has not been cleared yet...hoping thursday deliver stays the same.
owned both a 13" and 15" 2015 rMBP and the fans did not kick in until i did heavy load work like video editing or some gaming. i assume this also applies to the new Macbooks so no need to worry
Mine stayed. Supposed to be delivered tomorrow. It probably would've been here today if that didn't occur. lol
Just checked and mine did finally update to have a departure scan! Like my last post, delivery is still updated to Monday though. If it gets to NJ (and I don't care if it's Saddle Brook, Teterboro, Secaucus, or wherever nearby it could go) I'll just go and pick it up myself.
My customs delay was just released at 9:23 - looks like they're working through them all! Estimated delivery date is once again tomorrow, as it had been, so looking forward to all going smoothly from this point... Without this delay, I have a feeling it would have come day early, but oh well - still happy to have it coming this week!
Anyone located in PA area that wants one of the stock configurations, King Of Prussia Apple Store has both 13" and 15" in stock. No word on exact amount or any upgraded models but best of luck to you.

I was expecting to wake up to it being 20 minutes from my house, with hopefully an early delivery today (scheduled delivery for Thursday), but instead got a CLEARANCE DELAY! Out of Anchorage no less. My machine is in Memphis, so what in the world does that mean?!?!?
Being in Europe, my new MBP 15" was almost about to ship, and then I cancelled it. Had delivery 16-23 November. Read the iFixit teardown noting the SSD in the 15 inch was impossible to upgrade.
Just ordered again, so I can hang out with you guys a lot longer as I'd hate to take early delivery and leave this thread and all you guys
Actually re-ordered but upgraded from 512GB to 1TB and the delivery window is now 21-30 December. Ahhhh.. its almost Xmas time. Almost.

I ordered about 30 mins after release. 17-24 are delivery dates and it changed this morning. I'm not getting too excited there are people in the US that have been at P4D for days

Just adding another data point: Like several of you, my MBP has also finally escaped the multi-day UPS/Export Scan/Shanghai purgatory, but also--like several of you--my delivery slipped from Thursday to Monday.

Mine has not cleared. I called my business contact at the Apple store and they said they would look into it for me.
Anyone here know if either Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall, PA or the Rockaway Mall in NJ has stock of the 13" model. Tried calling the stores directly but can't get through to them, each is about an hour from me so I don't want to just drive there unless they have them
Same "Shanghai limbo" as many others delivery bumped to Monday 11/21...there go my plans to transfer everything over the weekend and have it ready for work on Monday :-/Yup... Bumped to Monday...
