After sitting in Louisville, KY for almost 12 hours, finally got an import scan. Guess it means package will actually start moving again tonight.

I woke up to the same nasty notice other Fedex shipments got - Clearance Delay import. It shows released now. Still in Memphis. Still on track for tomorrow. So much for one day early shipment today. Oh well, I didn't actually expect an early delivery. That would just be too good to be true. Still at beginning of estimated delivery window. It's funny when you realize that we could've just not obsessively tracked the shipment, and it would simply arrive when the shipper said it would. To quote one of the more eloquent world leaders, "sad!"

Anyone else planning on taking advantage of Apple's recycling/reuse program? I hope they'll give me the estimated ~$300 for my old mbp even though it doesn't work very well anymore. Then I can use that to get an Apple Watch!

New delivery date end of day Monday 11/21.
I still believe we will receive them bye tomorrow or Friday. Why would UPS want to store all this MBP for no reason?

I've lost all hope for tomorrow, but Friday doesn't seem implausible. UPS81 will get to Anchorage in about 4 hours so it seems reasonable that they could make it to the rest of the country by the end of the week.

I'm guessing the UPS folks had the same issue as the Fedex people with clearing customs, UPS just didn't notify us like Fedex did. Not sure why else there would have been the long delay in KY, typically if I have a package arrive in KY before 6am it will be delivered the same day.

Good Morning everyone,

Was wondering if anyone with a time frame of 4-5 weeks has any movement? If not, does anyone know if we could be expecting them sooner? Any info is appreciated.

My specs are:

Shipment 1
Ships: 4-5 weeks
Delivers: Dec 9 - Dec 15 by Standard Shipping
15-inch MacBook Pro - Silver

With the following configuration:
• 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor, Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz
• 16GB 2133MHz memory
• 256GB PCIe-based SSD
• Radeon Pro 460 with 4GB memory
• Backlit Keyboard (English) & User's Guide
• Four Thunderbolt 3 ports
• Touch Bar and Touch ID
• Force Touch trackpad
• Accessory Kit

I'm in the 3-4 week window and I don't think any or many of us have seen any movement yet. So that doesn't bode well for you guys in the 4-5 week window.

Mack Pro has arrived! 13" stock space grey $1999.00 version from Best Buy - Ordered on 11/11/2016 delivered 11/16/2016

:D it's beautiful! I ordered a 13" and you've assuaged my fears about the trackpad, it looks much more reasonable than the pictures I've seen of the 15"

Being in Europe, my new MBP 15" was almost about to ship, and then I cancelled it. Had delivery 16-23 November. Read the iFixit teardown noting the SSD in the 15 inch was impossible to upgrade.

Just ordered again, so I can hang out with you guys a lot longer as I'd hate to take early delivery and leave this thread and all you guys :)

Actually re-ordered but upgraded from 512GB to 1TB and the delivery window is now 21-30 December. Ahhhh.. its almost Xmas time. Almost.

Totally the same here - UK - was going to buy the 256gb version, but due to soldering cancelled and and upgraded to 512gb. Same delivery window also :( From hoping to get it this Thursday now moved to 21 - 30 Dec also. Torture but i'm sure it will be worth the wait - and a nice extra xmas pressie also! :)

What to believe, what to believe...

An email and a text message today from UPS saying I have a delivery from Apple tomorrow.
I canceled my dentist appt tomorrow to be home.

OR

The UPS website and app status that indicates delivery on Monday, 11/21.

??

This is almost as bad as the highs and lows of the "Waiting for Skylake" epic thread.

Absolutely the right thing to to - upgrade the SSD to the max you can afford/will spend - and hang out here for another good month. I just can't imagine spending my life elsewhere than here ;)
