I also have a clearance delay and I called fedex and the lady told me that it has cleared and it would take 24 hrs for delivery. I then asked if 24 hrs if that meant tomorrow, 11/17 as scheduled and she said yes

It actually arrived in Anchorage at 12:21! Delivery date now says tomorrow by end of day...I'll just be happy if it is here by Friday so that I can set it up over the weekend!
Got my 15" base model delivered just a few minutes ago from DHL. Why did Apple ship it using DHL, I have no idea! But, to my surprise there were no issues. There tracking is terrible though. Didn't show an expected delivery date or anything.
Best part is that I just placed my order less than a week ago! Yep, last Thursday afternoon. I can't believe it came so quickly!

You know, europeans who ordered on the keynote's night have yet to receive it! And the one that ordered same as you will get it at best at the end of December!
Mine arrived this afternoon! Ordered immediately after the keynote ended on the 27th. After seeing some people complain about having to slide to change the volume or brightness, I have an observation. When the slide bar is open, you can tap the icons on either side of the slide bar to go up at the intervals like before. Others might have noticed it but I just haven't seen anyone else post about it so I thought I might share about it.
I'm on the same plane. Mine said delivery tomorrow by end of day. Now changed to Monday for no apparent reason.
Very annoyed since mine sat at customs in China for 3 days.

You can also keep the finger on the button on the always shown part of the controls and slide without moving to the slider...
Mine still shows the clearance delay online, and the flights for the day are gone, but when I physically call FedEx and go through the telephone tracking system, it says "this package is on the way to the station that serves the delivery area". That sort of sounds like it's on the way to SLC, don't you think? I hope that's what they mean.
That's exactly when they said mine cleared! They didn't mention of the website issues, so I'm glad to read this update!

Online Apple support could not answer issues one or two and raised it up their chain. I guess I will have to wait and see.

I hope this is true, pretty much all we can do now is wait until the first flight lands and see if there is an update or wait until the second flight.
