You're way ahead of me. I'm 30 Dec - 4 Jan, and I'm checking every few hours. I know I won't have any movement for weeks, but I'm going nuts here.Any UK 6-12 Dec orders seen any movement?

Wow, wow, wow! Martian, I owe you a 6-pack of craft beer! If you don't drink alcohol, then I can always buy you a gallon of premium ice cream. (Everyone loves ice cream, right?) If our paths ever cross...
Your advice paid off! Late last night I emailed Apple's Business Team and before my local Apple Store opened today they emailed me back and said that they had the config I was looking for and he would have it set aside for me when I arrived. This is pretty huge for me!
Background:
- Originally ordered 60 seconds after pre-orders started. Would have been a Day One delivery.
- Canx'd order on Nov 4th after deciding that I wasn't buying a laptop that didn't have 32 GB of RAM.
- When deliveries started arriving in people's hands, I started hearing great reports from photographers.
- I spoke to a colleague (fellow working photographer/videographer) that said his new MBP was smooth as butter with his Canon 5DsR files and while processing Canon 1D X Mark II 4K 60fps video files in FCP X.
- I decided to pull the trigger again and I placed a pre-order with Apple and a pre-order with Adorama.
- Apple's new delivery date was Dec 22-28.
- Apple is great at delivering on time, but I am departing on Jan 1 for a 2-month photography field assignment and I became concerned about pushing it to close.
- It's over an hour drive to my local Apple Store, so I just couldn't afford to "pop in" and see if they had stock.
Fast forward to last night and The Martian told me about Apple's Business Program. I qualify for this program as a full-time working photographer (not just a hobby) and not only did I get instant results, but I also received spectacular customer service. The guy I worked with was very smart, we talked tech in great detail...and quite literally, he met with me at the store within 30 seconds of arriving where he immediately handed me my MBP in a bag, ready to go. One swipe of the credit card and I was done. The entire process, including the handshake, took about 70 seconds.
15" Space Gray, 2.9, 1 TB, 460 GPU.
I'm about to unbox it and couldn't be more excited! 5-6 week wait? Nope, not any more!

So I'm assuming this is through your tracking number? My UPS delivery date changed from next Wednesday to next Thursday.![]()
I ordered my MBP 15 2.7 on 28th Oct at A-mac.nl in the Netherlands, since they give 3 years of warrany. It seems they ordered themselves a batch on the 30th. I just received a mail that UPS will deliver tomorrow. Finally the wait will be over![]()
the man blew 4 grand on a computer MAXED OUT lolBryan,
I am so happy this worked out for you and you were able to get the MacBook Pro you needed. It sounds like you are going to have a great trip and a great computer to use on that trip.
I'll take you up on that ice cream thing if we cross paths but the most important thing is to enjoy your new MacBook Pro and help someone else out and pay it forward.
Be safe out there!
Still no charge, P4S, or change in shipping date for my 10/28 order
I'm in the same boat. Ordered a 13" BTO on 10/28, got a 12/7-13 delivery window. No CC damage or other updates since then.
The struggle has never been more real.
yup. got a change notice from UPS about the delivery moving forward a day.Since all of you were so helpful, I should do my last update. I ordered 15" on Oct 29, 3-4 weeks with a estimated arrival of Nov 29-Dec 6. I just got a shipping notification yesterday (11/24), with expected delivery on 11/29 (through tracking). Apple's notifification had an extra day tacked on.

Which country? My local UK store only has the 13" models in-stock.
Just another thanks to the Martian and his comments on using Apple's Business team. I have a toy business and since this is my first Mac I wanted to make the PC-Mac transition prior to the holiday rush. I had originally ordered right after the keynote but cancelled a few days later since I wanted the 1TB and 460 upgrade which moved my dates till 14-20 Dec. I emailed my store's business team yesterday morning and received a response in two hours, saying they had a Space Gray 15" 2.9/1TB/460 ready for pick up. First thing I did upon getting home was to cancel my previous order, after unboxing my new Macbook of course!
