Where do they tell you that?
They told me online through a chat about my order and a specialist said that to me over the phone. When I said that people are walking into stores and getting the same specs I ordered, I was told that people posting that are lying.

For all who ordered a 15" with the radeon 460 - dosnt it worry you with the people reporting flickering on the screen?

Im thinking of ordering a 13"

What are you thoughts?

I am not concerned. Apple will make it right.

I remember when I bought my first Apple computer; a 2009 24" iMac with the Radeon 4850. Those graphics cards had a problem of freezing up periodically. It took about a month to get a fix but in the end it was resolved.

Just picked up mine!

One thing I want to ask is when you touch the Touch ID button, does it make some physical noisy sound?

I have ordered the higher tier Macbook Pro 15" with TB, with Radeon 460 GPU. The delivery window is 13-19 December. So like everyone else, I'm hoping that it arrives earlier :)

But here comes the fun/weird part - a couple of days after ordering the Macbook, i ordered the 4K ultrafine display, with the knowledge that it probably would arrive later than my MBP, set to a delivery from the 25th of December to the 13th of january. So yesterday, i suddenly got notice that the display was shipped, so now i have a USB C display that i can't use untill i receive my MBP.

Right now, i just hope that the same thing happens to my MBP, and that i get a notification the following days!

FYI - For those of you who added AppleCare, make sure to check the coverage date. They set mine to the ship date (Nov 20) but from what I can tell... it's still in Narita and won't be here until next week. I just called AppleCare and they've let me know that I can call back once I do receive the machine and they will update the start and end date accordingly.

Anyone else stuck in Narita via UPS? My order originally shipped on Nov 21 and arrived in Narita on Nov 22 at 19:46 local time. UPS Flight 109 left from Narita to Anchorage just a little bit over 1 hour ago (21:55 local time) but no departure scan with my tracking.

UPS' scans very often lag coming out of Narita. It's most likely on its way and will 'batch' update when it arrives in AK.

Hopefully you'll see movement soon. I have the same delivery window and am preparing for shipment as of this morning.

I have the Dec 5-9 window and card was changed and its now in preparing to ship mode (yesterday).

Oh wow, so it usually comes even before the estimate?

I have always gotten my Macs or iPhones days before my window. And my MBP has a window of Dec 5-9, and it just shipped today with a Delivery on Monday. A full week before the earliest 'arrive' date of Dec 5.

Thanks for the info! My mid-2009 MBP is showing its age... (though being able to swap out the original HDD to SSD made it feel brand new and gave it another year of life :p)

For the Fedex U.S. bound orders that went SHANGHAI -> SENNAN-SHI JP today, Fedex 24 is due to arrive in Indianapolis just after midnight. Presumably little to no movement will happen tomorrow, so Friday delivery seems unlikely, and the Monday delivery they project sounds about right (in my case).

how do people get FEDEX, mine shipped with crappy UPS

I just walked into the Apple store in Lexington, Kentucky, seeking a 2.6GHz, 1TB, 15" Touch Bar model. I was told that they have no 1TB models in stock at all, and those must be custom ordered online.

Damn it was amazing to pull the USB-C from the side of the unit and use it to charge my Nexus 5X.

Thanks for that, I was actually wondering about that too since we don't actually have the product in our hands.
